Visitor...you're using the same lowered standards I joked about. The Michigan Ave section on MP is my neighborhood. It is nothing like the Crane Street area of MP, but not too long ago there was a stray bullet that went into someone's porch near the post office...there have been stabbings and fights on Altamont...I have seen fights in the street and gaveseen people waving guns. This is not a good neighborhood anymore...because other areas are so much worse the overall standards of what is safe, what is good have been lowered.

Terrorizing the neighborhood - you are really out of touch.  Customer Service surveys are generally favorable re: citizens' encountesr with the police.

Generally very to somewhat satisfied range in 75-80%.

People from the neighborhoods are more than wlecome in fact have been recruited to take the exam.  City residents were canvassed first re: the
latest hirings.

And in order to rebuild teh courts, they will need bulldozers to fix teh problem.  They will also need them to raze unsalvagable properties, which tend
to generate crime and  blight.

The neighborhood by Michigan Avenue is not that bad of a neighborhood.  The crime stats will bear that out.

The all night drug house down past JP gas.

The other across from the nursing home.

Hookers walking the neighborhood.

Lol, customer survey says:

Customer surveys are skewed when taken by the occupation forces

The Iraqis probably gave the invading forces a good review as well.

The unsalvageable properties don't generate crime and blight.

The excessive poverty from excessive taxation does.

Wasting millions upon millions on police failures that do nothing but move the drug dealers to other neighborhoods.

The 2 biggest consumers of tax money are the police and metroplex.

War Zone!

most folks feel well 'personally' for the crappy job police have(by choice)....and most folks don't understand the system
of the shepherds of the sheople....if they did.............................................

A BIG FAT ZERO would be the norm......I've lived in Rotterdam most of my life...the 'city cleanse' (as I stated 3 years ago)
is to sweep the sh!t over the lines.....

prove I am wrong....

I'm sure that constable Dagostino would be able to provide the troop movements and effects there of....

My main point was to give credit to teh people from 15 Love - that's all.  They will be arising all teh money themselves, so, it's an improvement to the
neighborhood and not on the taxpayers' dime.  (Except to clean away some of the overgrowth before they got started).

I remember when those courts were used all the time and the Little League had games every night. (Viscuci's (sp?), Aumiller's).

Unsalvageable properties are havens for drug activity, prostitution, and they pose a fire hazard, plus the percentage of vacant properties impacts
home insurance rates.

You have a right to your opinion, not to the facts.

I remember Pa. Ave as beautiful. It is sliding into the same low level morass as the rest of the city. I recall in the 90s how my friends moved in up the street from Danny's Confectionary off Eastern, and we would visit every weekend. You wouldn't go there now to save your life, or you might lose it. What a cesspool the city has become. Keep fiddling while it burns.

they are making a workforce of healthcare assistance/waitstaff/housecleaners/sitters etc for the 1%'ers...

then subsidize them with the tax squeeze on the rest....

BRRRRRIIIILLLIANT....

but what can we expect from a system of reliance

oh yeah, a slave nation of people who are emptying chamber pots, with a intentionally failed education system, lots of cops on the force to employ the nephews, and lots of taxpayer subsidy- all crammed into the ghetto that Schenectady has become. It is brilliant on the behalf of the power elite.

Remember Escape from NY?

Pa. Ave is a pretty popular destination for the cops, among others. Hear it on the scanner quite a bit. Eastern Ave down by Danny's, crapped out a while ago. Rugby Rd area around No. Brandywine, another hot spot.

No money in the city to fix up a tennis court where the RESIDENTS of the NEIGHBORHOODS can enjoy it.

ALL the taxpayers' money is going to downtown to make the rich become millioinaires, and the millionaires to become billionaires -- all via their 100% tax exemptions and having the homeowner pay downtown's tax bills.  And if the homeowners lose their homes, no big deal according to the DEMS!

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
