Interestingly, I followed this link, and it shows the debt clock for states also. NY, interestingly enough, is actually bringing DOWN the numbers on the debt clock at the moment, although each resident currently owes $16,174 in outstanding debt. Yay, that means my immediate family (you know, with the 2.5 kids, I'll take the full 3, just to lighten the burden on someone else), only owes about $80.5K to the state to get it out of debt. http://www.usdebtclock.org/state-debt-clocks/state-of-new-york-debt-clock.html |
