Obviously, despite the plummeting home values, the ability to buy a house for the price of a car, all time historic record low mortgage rates, people still are choosing in ever fewer numbers to buy a house IN the city. Would have to look at Albany to see if that trend is constant every month, like it is in Schenectady CITY. Thank to the dems for contributing to a failing city with highest taxes and going up, drastically reduced tax base, plummeting home values, endless spending, a known $5 million hole with a dem mayor and council that have taken no steps to stop the wiild spending this year. Glad I don't live in the city, even DV is avoiding the city like the plague  |

Mayor McCheese has a new plan with Key Bank for unqualified home owners to pay insane DEM taxes. This is another big plan from the DEM machine who all understand the "importance of high taxes". It's the record taxes-Stupid! Only Albany is worse. Same with education and record crime rates. Thank God for Albany or Schenectady would be the worst in the State.
