Yes, you provide shelter for people. They build the government schools and courthouses. We should have parades every time a construction worker dies sacrificing his/her life building one of our government monuments.

Does that come with a 21 nailgun salute

When you die in a construction accident, or in a car wreck, it was just that... an accident. No one stabbed you, or shot at you on purpose. I'm sure that difference is obvious, but some on the board don't seem to care.

Lol...The federal government sells guns to the drug cartels, the cartels give them to the American drug dealers, whose drug houses are then raided by the police, and a police officer gets shot. Yup, shot on purpose, by guns sold to drug dealers by the government, enforcing useless drug laws for a non-violent crime.

I considered posting the pile of boarded up houses too.
Usually you only hear negative things about the Schenectady police. Having lived here my entire life, I have more than my fair share of stories. But I would like to acknowledge the efforts of two offi cers who recently went above and beyond to help me and my family out. My teenage son has Asperger’s Syndrome, which contributed to a highly charged emotional outburst, during which he implied that he was going to harm himself. By the time Offi cers Timothy Rizzo and Peter Montalto arrived, my son had calmed down and was no longer in any danger. They spoke with him, and then talked with my wife and myself until they were confident that the situation was resolved. During the conversation, I had mentioned that I was looking to get my son involved in a particular group, but had been unable to locate any contact information for the group. Several hours later, Offi cer Rizzo appeared at my window fl ashing his flashlight (so as not to wake my daughter) and gave me the information I had been looking for. Neither officer looked old enough to drive, but they certainly proved that this isn’t your father’s Schenectady Police Department. Kudos and many thanks.
