I was looking through the Sch'dy 2020 plan and came across this for Jerry Burrell Park, what does this mean?

Expand the park to include City-owned parcels on the opposite side of Schenectady Street,
and abandon the portion of Schenectady Street separating these parcels from the park

Sounds like they're planning on exapanding the park by closing down a portion of the street, no?

there used to be city owned lots in the middle of the block but Habitat  built houses there.  Just wishful thinking but maybe they'd want to buy my house  

I'm sure you wouldn't get "fair market value" or whatever you're actually appraised at.  That's what they say it's worth, not what they'll pay for it.
