Put down the renaissance pom-poms! The Gazetto has joined the growing chorus demanding a State Control Board to take over fiscal control of the City. McCheese does not have the ability to budget and lacks the spine to make any cuts in spending. A Pastors called Talk 1300 concerning tax foreclosures on their churches. The YWCA can't pay its water and sewer bills. The DEM implosion continues at warp speed. The City should have never sold tax liens to ATF. Don't fret. Have another socialist burnt coffee at Fat Morris'-lol.  

Not sure that's necessary.  It will be interesting to read the Comptroller's report to get a true sense of where the City is.

RIGHT! And if we can do something about fast food companies who have executives who are so bigoted they oppose gay marriage, then we can all feel satisfied. Besides, the deficit is in the tens of millions and most people can't count that high.

Right, a control board would be an unbiased entity taking a fine-tooth comb and finding all the waste...all the free employee cell phones...all the union abuse...all the free cars....the Mayor giving $3 million to a munic golf course when skipping out on the $3 million owed the school district...the mayor collecting a pension AND salary at the same time.....Metroplex giving millions to connected developers and connected non-profits to purchase properties to bail out previous Metroplex receipients in bankruptcy....a wasteful $19 million dollar Erie Blvd project...and $100 million dollars of Metroplex money which has not resulted in even 6,000 jobs...0ver 600 properties in foreclosure...and one of the most dangerous cities in NYS.  

If that doesn't spell out a control board review...there is only one other word....CORRUPTION!

You don't know? Down the drain. $10 MILLION in the red. $106 MILLION in hock. Tax receipts receipts in free fall. Sales taxes down Countywide. They can't pay the principle on their debt so the DEMS keep rolling it over. They have to establish a State Control Board or go bankrupt-there is no third option. Camden, NJ North. GE and a tax exempt Downtown surrounded by collapsing hulks.
