The cases where due process should be overlooked are rare and specific, but necessary.
So the Constitution can be ignored whenever the government secretly decides it is appropriate. Drone executions are basically for the people too lazy to do it the hard way. There exists no direct threat. They just pick and choose at their leisure, who lives or dies. No trial, no conviction, just decisions. The omnipresent teacher theory. How very McVeigh of you. |
