From the renaissance/DEM working together file. The NPD is urging residents to be on the lookout for thieves breaking into cars and garages. OVER 100 car/garage break ins so far this summer. Of course this is typical in every NE suburb-nothing to be alarmed about. Niskayuna Supervisor Landry is calling in self described law enforcement expert Mayor McCheese for a new "plan". His plan for the City gangs and pit bull explosion has worked so well. The City implosion is spreading outside the City limits.

Rash of break-ins in Niskayuna
Reported by: Julie Tremmel Email: julietremmel@fox23news.com
Story Published: 8/09 10:55 pm Share Updated: 5:01 am

Police say if you live in Niskayuna, or in any other community that borders the town, it’s time for you to get smart about protecting your stuff.

Just since the beginning of June more than 100 break-ins have been reported to the Niskayuna Police Department.

But after some research, we found out that most of those thefts could have been prevented.

That’s because the majority of cars and garages that items were missing from had been unlocked when the loot was stolen!

Niskayuna Police say it’s imperative for car owners and people with garages to start protecting ‘their stuff.’

“People really need to park in well-lit areas, take everything off of their car seats, and out of the car, even phone chargers, and take it inside the house,” Det. Sgt. Dan McManus said.

Due to the sheer volume of reported thefts, right now Niskayuna Police and cops from surrounding communities are frustrated, and they’re on the lookout for a group of crafty thieves who are out to steal your stuff.

McManus says the alleged criminals are mainly looking for items in your locked or unlocked or car, or loot that’s in garages that homeowners leave wide open overnight.

Local authorities are doing what they can to patrol neighborhoods, but still, night after night thieves continue to make off with the goods.

That’s why they need residents to get more proactive about protecting their belongings.

Alice Dean of Rotterdam says she found out the hard way that her quiet, remote neighborhood wasn’t immune from such an occurrence.

Dean said, “We had three young men that were picked up breaking into vehicles in my neighborhood over in Rotterdam off of Chrysler Ave., and one of our neighbors just happened to be out in the middle of the night smoking a cigarette on his front porch and spotted them going into someone’s vehicle. And he noticed that they had equipment that they would be using to break into vehicles and they had some (stolen) stuff when the police got there, and they had taken stuff out of vehicles. But at least they did catch ‘em this time!”...................>>>>....................>>>>....................http://www.fox23news.com/news/.....5joHYUXQ.cspx?rss=39

Maybe Nisky 'leaders' will take charge of this because Schenectady hasn't done a darn thing about such vandalism. Ask any Stockade resident - these episodes happen throughout the year! They all have their insurance carriers on speed dial for the broken car windows...etc...etc.

And the graffiti??? Look at the train trellises/bridges all over the City - an embarrassing eyesore for all.

In Schenectady "leaders' is an oxymoron. These DEM idiots are actually importing pit bulls from out of State. Growing up in Nisky no one ever locked doors. Things Done Changed. The implosion has leaked over the City limits. The entire County is being pulled down by the County DSS imports coming in by the busload. Keep working together DEM implosion squad. The DSS building is not the only thing all cracked up in this County. How's the investigation going? lol

Schenectady County-too small for a County. Too big for an asylum. Got pit bulls?

We need to focus on getting rid of CHick-A-Fil to protect the kids from bad values!

Nisky has been going down hill for some time now. New 'elites' are not moving into nisky....they are opting for Clifton Park or Saratoga. Too close to the city!
