If there were any adults there think they would've stopped it? Looked like a few. Also the little kids watching not only
seeing the fight but hearing the N word repeatedly. Not only do many of the youth not have respect for anyone not
even for themselves or there little brothers and sisters. Very sad : (

Brother brother, there's too many of you dieing

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

And this is the entertainment for the youth and adults?

Sad that none of the 'adults' there have any common sense whatsoever - egging on these kids, what disgusting role models! Perpetuating violence with inaction.

When this becomes the norm, it's simply a matter of time before retaliation includes weapons.

These appeared to be kids 15 or older possibly adults themselves - probably a basketball fight that got out of hand - if this was the only thing they had to worry about....

Kids are going to fight.  Sets a poor example, but it happens - no one pulled a knife, no one got a gun - they used to have fights in the old neighborhoods - if you won you walked around with your chest out the loser went home and licked their wounds - and a few weeks later all was forgotten.

The bar fight was a totally different matter.

This is why Schenectady has devolved to this point and continues to decay.  A person that I presume is in law enforcement explaining away assault, as long it isn't assault with a deadly weapon.  The same person that has attempted to explain away this same misbehavior by the SPD.  Drunk violent cops policing drunk violent citizens. Who is learning the behavior from who?  Most sociologist would say that people follow leaders, people in perceived positions of authority.

Sad

Hey, nothing like being a little proactive and preventative.  I guess it DOES take someone getting killed to have SPD take some action.  Wait. I just made a funny!  I kill me sometimes.

"No one pulled a knife, no one got a gun" ... all is good in Schenectady (according to the local SPD rep).  It's NOT A WAR ZONE!

Rusty

Visitor are you serious?  Jeez   If someone hadn't called the police, as we heard the siren in the backround it could
have very well escalated into using weapons.

Like I said in another post police did respond quickly the other night when fight in park at 3 am BUT wouldn't it be
only common sense that IF THEY PATROLED the area it would stop some of this violence.

McCarthy was out here the other day giving a proclamation for a "march for Jesus" which is fine. BUT why dosen't he
get his a** into the neighborhoods other than downtown and start worrying about tax paying citizens who give a dam.

Because he dosen't give a dam thats why.
