To complain about the construction on Erie Boulevard is quite asinine. The project has been going on for some time now and smart and intelligent drivers would by now have chosen an alternate route if they wished to avoid the delays. I myself do not really mind the construction, for I foresee great things to come when it is completed. All those who choose to complain are merely sniveling cry babies.

DV figures if he can claim a good rep if he creates imaginary friends and the friends give him good reps.   Oh, now he's creating a user name for real family.

Pathetic

Where else would they go? Really? It is logical to go to the city of no standards for anything.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Avoid McCheeseville entirely. This is another new low even for this crew of incompetents. They let the City Jerk write an ordinance that is weak as water. No one says we need more animal control officers, that we need 24X7 animal control and a new law that destroys these monsters that are running wild in all City neighborhoods. Wonder what the lady that was almost killed on Hamilton Hill thinks about the latest DEM f up? We have enough of these problems here without importing more from New England. The Gazetto is also to blame for supporting this nit wit unworkable dog insurance law. Does Cuomo have another no work job?

NYC is much cleaner and better run. Months after news of McCheese's deficit NOTHING has been cut. But the DEM morons have found several more budget busting spending projects including Stratton's roommates Erie plan. They expect the taxpayers to "suck it up" because the DEMS "understand the importance of high taxes". After 700+ foreclosures hit the fan maybe some will understand that elections have consequences. Chase these fiscal incompetents out of City Hall. Start with charity shop closer Marion Poterfield,

Dog owners cited for lacking licenses
Vicious animal and another are at issue

BY KATHLEEN MOORE Gazette Reporter

The owners of the dog declared vicious by a Pittsfield, Mass., court were ticketed Thursday for allegedly failing to license the dog once they moved to Schenectady.
Public Safety Commissioner Wayne Bennett sent an animal control offi cer to their house after discovering that they had not applied for a license.
Lori Rohde and Adam Pollack were both ticketed. Rohde owns Zeus, the dog involved in an attack on a 9-year-old boy in Pittsfi eld in June. Pollack owns another dog, Cleopatra. Neither is licensed.
    When called, Pollack did not

want to discuss the matter with the press.
He added that he didn’t think it was fair that a court deemed Zeus vicious. “Zeus was innocent,” he said, then hung up.
While Zeus was licensed in Pittsfield, Cleopatra has always lived in Schenectady, according to Pollack. He did not offer any explanation as to why he had never licensed that dog.
Bennett checked on the licensing personally, saying he was con- cerned about Zeus. He objected to the idea of relocating a vicious dog, a decision made by a court in Massachusetts. Other city offi cials also objected but could not overturn the court ruling.
On Tuesday night, one of Schenectady’s animal control offi cers checked on the dogs and warned the owners that they needed to get licenses, Bennett said.
But by midday Thursday, they still had not done so. That’s when Bennett sent another officer to their house to issue tickets if they could not produce licenses.
“My concern is, when you have dogs with no license, you have no evidence of rabies vaccination,” Bennett said.
The vaccination serves as a protection for anyone bitten by the dog, he added.
Pollack apparently tried to offer some explanation to one of the officers, Bennett said. “But I don’t care. There’s no license,” he said. “He lived here before. He had dogs here before. What can I tell you? He knew what he had to do.”
Failing to license a dog is a violation, generally punishable by a fi ne. ...........................>>>>......................>>>>..................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r00103&AppName=1

No mention of the insurance requirement?

Guess we can all sleep better knowing that if one of these dogs rips someone else up, at least you can take 'getting rabies' off your medical chart.

I'm sure these tickets will be paid .........

It is quite obvious that either Commissioner Bennett or this boards apparent resident pd employee reads these boards and reads what we "nayboobs" are saying.   We who have been squeaky wheels asking these questions.

So now the license is being addressed.  Maybe the guy doesn't have enough money to buy two licenses for two un-neutered dogs.   Schenectady residents can hope.

Now, what is McC going to do to mandate a high quality, super secure fence on his property?

And what is McC going to do about the ILLEGAL STAR exemption?    Maybe the resident poster from the PD could say something about that too?  Well, it IS the LAW.

True, but then Pollcks mortgage requires homeowner insurance and that it be escrowed.  Since the mortgage has not been discharged, I'd think there is homeowner insurance.   But next question, does it meet the liability level set by the city?   But also, does his have dog coverage, I can't remember way back when we first bought this house, but when we changed insurance companies they did as the question of whether we had a dog but specifically what breed.

Gee, idea are flowing

In any other County in the nation the DA or Sheriff would stop this pit bull relocation. Not Schenectady. Nobody says nuthin. Pretend there is no pit bull/gang/crime problem just as the City DEM morons have done for 37 straight years. Welcome back to Schenectady pit bull owners. And DSS applicants for a second mailbox.

According to the news, the city of Schenectady tried to stop it, but the court in Pittsfield ordered it.   I can't believe that the city of Schenectady would abide by a court of another city in another state.

At least someone in the city was reading these boards as we posted asking about license, insurance, address, posted the guys name, some history.
