Hmm. Of "Olympic Proportion" - is this the Dem Party words, or yours DVOR?
The Olympic Games are unique and the name “Olympic” is what identifies them as the incredible event that they are. If we were to authorise other events to use the name “Olympic” in this way it would dilute the identity and value of the Olympic Games. As such please refrain from using the term ‘mini-Olympics’ or similar names.
I'm pretty sure "Olympic" or implying that it's of "Olympic Proportions" is a trademark infringement

The INABILITY to sell houses in Schenectady---despite the drastically lower value combined with all-time record low mortgage rates--is of olympic proportion
The numbers of homeowners losing their homes in Schenectady is of olympic proportion
The REDUCTION in essential services to the residents in the neighborhoods (you know, DV, where people actually LIVE) in Schenectady is of olympic proportion.
The wild uncontrolled non-stop spending in Schenectady is of olympic proportion.
The city's big financial hole is of olympic propotion
So DV, what YOU are saying is that this event is going to be a celebration of the reduction in the tax base, a celebration of having financially struggling homeowners pay almost the highest taxes in the whole U.S., a celebration of people suffering severe financial loss from their home losing value, a celebration of holding homeowners in Schenectady hostage by the dems creating a such a poor quality of life at such an exhorbitant cost that no one wants to move into Schenectady, and its'a dem celebration of one of the biggest financial deficits in history of Schenectady. And THAT is all worth celebrating?
Maybe we could all convince the local talk show host, Paul V, to comment on this "celebration" of "olympic proportion" tomorrow on his show, we'll tell him that the dems in Schenectady were blabbing about their celebration of--highest taxes, largest reduction tax base, increase in tax seizures, and one of the largest financial holes in history. Yes, we will share with him your post above.
