It seems almost impossible to derail a good anti metroplex rant once it gets rolling.

This lot is owned by the Plex. Why would they be closing it?

Aren't the billion dollars in sales from Proctors enough to afford the lot?

Or is the Plex losing money...well, we know after $100 million spent downtown it's been flushed somewhere.

Maybe someday when you pay City taxes Box, you might become a little more empathic to the waste we pay for over and over again.

How can the metroplex lose money? They are publicly funded.

If operating costs go up and sales tax revenue go down.  Their balance sheets can be upside down.

Really, operating costs?

An employee that takes your money.

Is there a security team?

You have to plow, seal, sweep, stripe, staff, insure property, comp and disability on employees.  And I know Wackenhut provides security for some buildings downtown, I don't if Metroplex hires them for parking lot security.

Probably just another way to give Proctors more money to survive.  Big shell game

Heard today that the parking lot behind Proctors is losing money so they may close it.  Can see it now.  Entrances blocked off and weeds growing through the cracks..  See downtown behind all the nice facades....

Everything Death Ray and Fat Morris are involved with loses money. What's new here? Check out the NEW DSS to see how Death Ray does a rehab- ROTFLMAO!! This is another attempt to rape County taxpayers. Idea: Bring back the Venice style canals around Proctor's, Recycle another old DEM "plan".

If you really think about it these "failures" have been nothing but a success over the past 30 years for all the developers.   They got their $$$$$ out of it and left the project to waste away.   Until another devl. tried their plan that failed, but they too got their $$$$$ out of it.   So you see failure can result in a financial success as long as you are at the top of the pyramid (scheme)?
