You were taking in the pleasant aromas wafting from one of Schenectady's finest establishments .... and then damn it .. you saw the parking enforcement officer so you knew that you couldn't just park without paying and run in to indulge in Villa Italia's scrumptious offerings.
Maybe next time, you'll get lucky and someone will leave a parking space early --- with some time still left on the meter.

Went to a party last night (ok, lots of beer) and my buddy's wife came out with a twopint jars of sorbetto for everyone to taste - blood orange and lemon. Oh My God. I don't remember what kind they were, but I gotta find out - and where she got them, they were awesome! The blood orange was just like eating an orange and the lemon was incredible. I'll lose my man card for this, but they were better than the Keystone beers that seemed to disappear pretty quickly.
