Well?????? Villa Italia has "helped" in the reduction of the tax base in the city. It has "helped" in DRASTICALLY INCREASING the taxes on the homeowners. It has assisted in causing home values in the city to plummet. Is is a major factor in people fleeing the city in droves. It has contributed to a substantial reduction in essential service to the residents of the city. And it has helped cause the MAJOR FINANCIAL CRISIS in the city.
It has been an asset to the socialists and your dem party political cronies.
And if it's so great for downtown, please tell us DV, WHY are you not buying a house in downtown?????? Huh?????? Why do you avoid buying a house ANYWHERE IN thre city?????? Why to you avoid RESIDING in the city no matter what the cost and no matter where?????? Of course, total silence. A major part of the DEM friends and family implosion. Because of the DEM Downtown Business permanent tax exemptions the oppressed homeowners are getting crushed. But no one at the Gazetto can put two and two together. Maybe after another scathing State audit? Taxes UP-Revenues tanking. I stopped at Villa Italia on Monday morning for lunch and had a fabulous pistacho gelato. The young ladies working there were exceptionally pleasant and provided great customer service.
