Police look for suspect in attempted Scotia abduction Updated 09:34 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012
SCOTIA — Village police said they are looking for a white man in his 40s who tried to lure a girl into his car Friday evening.
Police said the man, who was wearing a light blue T-shirt with an eagle and sword on the front, tried to lure the 10-year-old into his green four-door sedan on Cartwheel Drive by offering her candy at 5:45 p.m. The girl refused and ran home.
Police said the car has rust around its wheel wells and white license plates.
Police said that two weeks ago an incident involving a similar-looking car and man occurred. In that case, the man asked a girl if she wanted to see a puppy he had in his car.
