Maybe I missed the news, but there seems to be a lot of construction going on over there. Mainly on the right hand side of the store (nearest the water tower). Thanks everyone.

Maybe the resident board town official will respond. Nope, forget that idea.
Go to the town's website to see the minutes of meetings. Nope, residents or taxpayers may only see minutes if they take time off from work, go without pay, etc, to go to town hall to read them.
Shhh. taxpayers must not know goverment "officials" are doing and saying

And explain WHY the taxpayers do not have access to the minutes of planning meetings? Not "agenda", but the minutes, the results.
Well?
What's the big secret?
Oh, people can go look at them at the town hall? Explain why taxpayers have to take time off from work, for many without pay, to view minutes of meetings?
Why the refusal to have this stuff EASILY accessible?????? Like any NORMAL government does

Thanks clubhouse. Now are they going to pass pizzas through the drive thru as well? That would be cool. We need another pizza joint in Rotterdam don't we? LOL!

Still no explanation from the town planning cmte member to state why he and his colleagues refuse to post the minutes of the meeting on the town website for easy access 24/7 for the residents.
It is SOOOOOOOO EASY to have them posted. Why isn't that done? And why doesn't DV answer the question to explain why not?

The public has access to the agenda, the minutes and all other documents related to the meeting as prescribed by the law. The Price Chopper project was an agenda item that was discussed at at least 3 meetings --- all of which were open to the public.
These feeble attempts to lie, distort and deceive by certain individuals (the nayboobs) are just a pile of horse sh*t.

The minutes might be available as prescribed by law...but let's be honest here. If a resident wants to know what really transpired during the meeting, the Town hasn't made it easy or convenient to do this. One must go during working hours and submit a FOIL request in order to view the minutes. And if the resident wants a copy, then there is a per page charge! Check out the websites of the other towns, cities and villages in this area. Everything is posted ---agenda and minutes -- for all town meetings -- town boards, planning commissions, ZBA's. Rotterdam needs to get with the real world and enter the year 2012! Heck...even the city of Schenectady posts their minutes.

DV, the agenda is on the website WHERE ARE THE MINUTES???????????????????????????? Tell us WHERE DV???????
Post a link to the MINUTES of the meetings.
Explain, DV, WHY, WHY is it that in these technologically advance times, the minutes are NOT posted????? Why is that DV????? Why????? Why is the agenda posted but NOT the minutes?????? Huh??????
