I've looked into all the candidates, and I believe the best choice for my vote is Gary Johnson. Hopefully Ron Paul supporters and other third party backers can join together and take down this two party system!

Gary Johnson is one of the good guys, most don't even remember he was running in the GOP this election and was on a few of the earlier debates, however he didn't get to far considering Ron Paul who is also more libertarian had more backers. I would ask people to look more into Johnson as the election draws near, I'm a die hard Paul supporter but if Paul doesn't get on the ballot Johnson will get my vote as well.

I won't even consider voting for Gary Johnson for the same 2 reasons I won't consider voting for any third party candidate in November.

Reason 1:  Bill Clinton
Reason 2:  Barack Obama

Both led to the Presidency due to people voting for third party candidates (H. Ross Perot and Ron Paul, respectively).  While I like the idea of the third party candidates and the things they bring to the table, the founding fathers of the United States never thought of the possibility of a third party and the system as it is set up makes it impossible for them to win, and in fact, takes away the chance of winning the presidency from those that have ideals closer to those of the third party candidate during any election.

Obama won not because of 3rd party choices but because of the GOP's choice of nominating McCain, this time Obama will probably win due to both the GOP's pick and 3rd party votes and write ins. Republicans are screwing themselves by pushing away conservatism and replacing it with their versions of big government.

And George Bush wasn't horrible also? You think Romney will be better than Obama? Get real, your buying the cooperate propaganda that there are differences. At some point the intelligent folks need to step up and make their voices heard. Voting Democrat or Republican is saying I submit to my corporate masters. FYI, the same argument you are using against Perot and Paul, was used by the Dems against Nader. If Obama or Romney win nothing changes, NOTHING

I guess what I'm saying is getting lost on you.  Voting for a third-party candidate, how things are set up, will never get the third-party candidate elected.  It will only give power to those who oppose the said candidate with opposing views, since they draw votes from those that are most closely aligned with them.  If Obama wins, he continues to blame things on Bush.  If Romney wins, who knows. You're right, probably nothing changes, but at least there's a chance, and I like chances better than no chance.

Don't vote at all...Or if you are going to vote, cast a protest vote...People need to stop giving their consent to an illegitimate federal government and the corrupt 2 parties.  The attitude of the people needs to change.  Changing the puppet put in the White House does nothing.  

Ron Paul represents the change in attitude toward government and the role of government in people's lives.  His campaign has little or nothing to do with him occupying the White House.  He is educating and inspiring people to realize they are capable of governing themselves.

Don't forget G Worst Bush winning in 2000 and in 2004 with the help of 3rd party candidate Ralph Nader.

Had Nader not ran in 2000, GWB would NOT have been elected... The Iraq war would have never happened
and 4486 American patriots would still be alive today, (and there STILL wouldn't have been any Iraqi WMD'S)

The second inherited war that GWorstBush left to his successor.  So far, Obama ended our Iraq involvement
as promised, and has an end date for the Afghanistan disaster.
