Yup............just like global founderies...........NO RAISES for them.........business is bad they say!! Foreign held company that doesn't even pay well to start!! The jokes on US!!!

But most of them are schooled professionals, not some people just putting "slot A" into "tab B" all day.
Fact is, we don't have a work force that is capable of doing much more than that these days.

I don't know how any of you can defend the fact that we are now PAYING these companies to move overseas.

I haven't seen you crying that we are PAYING billions into a failed 'green energy' agenda.

And this was a 'fluff' bill by the Dems to begin with, since everyone know that when Jan. rolls around, taxageddon hits. Then 'poof' goes that fake 20%

Suppose that Barack Obama takes taxpayer dollars and supports a start up company with tax breaks and
incentives.  The company hires 50 workers, refits a unused warehouse and begins production.  3 years later
he lays off 30 employees, and in it's 4th year, the company folds.
Where did the taxpayer dollars go?
~50 workers had jobs for 3 years, and 20 for 4 years.  They fed their families and PAID TAXES.
~There were 75 total people who worked for some period of time refitting the warehouse... plumbers, riggers
electricians, painters etc.  Their jobs were temporary, but most of their contracts are temporary.
~The startup paid little local tax  and no state tax on the warehouse... but it did get refurbished and
is now much more usable than before the refit.
~A few of the now laid off employees learned a marketable skill while training for this job... and could get jobs
in the competitors factories.
~While in business, the company did business with several suppliers in the area buying parts, shipping parts,
advertising, and even the local coffee shops who served the work force in those 4 years.

You could call this venture a failure, and it did fail... but the money stayed in the USA, produced a limited amount
of tax revenue and fed its workforce for a period of time.
Not the successful venture that the Obama Administration had hoped for but not a total loss.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now the Romney plan:
Take the money... Send it overseas... where it enters the overseas economy and just as in the above example
it produces jobs, pays taxes, feeds it's employees, and circulates through their economy.
This example IS a total loss.  Taxpayers dollars are gone with no rebounding effect in the community.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not a difficult choice in November.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

And I don't see you crying about the fact that we are pissing away TRILLIONS via the defense budget on stuff that will never even be used.

Oh, like what Tommy?...Lasers?...Railguns?....Advanced stealth?....Cloaking tech?

Or are you going to bring up nuclear weaps? Because you already know why they are truly needed.

So no, I really don't cry about stuff that keeps us safe while being grossly more advanced than anything, anyone else has.

I like knowing that our premier fighter, the F-22, is totally untouchable by any other aircraft or ground defense system on our planet. Yup, it is totally expensive to produce.

To be fair to you Tommy and your school of red herring, I do have a problem with flagrent waste.....Like when the Navy pays $26/gallon on 'bio-fuel' or when the AF pays $59/ gallon for 'bio-jet fuel'

Safe from who?  What advancing armies?  We've been in Afghanistan for 10+ years with 2050 Americans dead, against an enemy from arguably the poorest country in the world.  With more casualties occurring in the last 3 year than the first 9.

Thank GOD for our grossly advanced military keeping me safe from those Afghani rock farmers.

Hmmmm....4 years for WWII against the technologically advanced Germans Panzer Tanks and Luftwaffe and 11 years against the Afghani camel tanks and improvised explosives.

Payback?

Wow, you are one f*cked up individual to think it's OK the harm America, and Americans, just as long as your team gets a little payback.
Seriously,what the f*ck is your major malfunction?

It is know as the Limbaugh effect; whereby one hopes America fails, in order for Republicans to gain power.

1. Nuclear weapons are not needed unless you plan on destroying the entire world.

2. Safe? OMG Military weapons keep you safe? That's hysterical. Those weapons keep the US government safe. The end.

Don't you just love the liberals selective memory, thw Dems didn't even let the Reps have any input into their secret meetings where they locked the doors and only Dems were allowed in. The Dem Senate has blocked a vote on any budget for the last 3 years. The Dem administration shut down all drilling in the Gulf putting thousands out of work. The Dems have blocked the oil pipeline between Canada and the USA, Hypocrite

Yes, genius, shutting down the gulf drilling plans is a lifesaving and environmentally saving event.

Drilling and pipelines are environmental and wildlife destruction.

So, yes, it's exactly the same as blocking jobs bills to win an election.

So were are to put everyone who might work for a company that creats toxins out of work, even people who work producing green products windmills< batteries, solar panels all produce things toxic to the land shut them all down. You should talk to some of those people whose lives you tjhink you saved who couldn't feed their families how they feel about your wacko ideas. You better get down to GE and shut down that battery plant too, it generates toxins as a by-product of production just like oil drilling does. Todays methods of extracting oil from the ground are so much more eco friendly than most people are aware of. What the hell does radio have to do with anything.

Ge only keeps a minimal amount of employees to keep the remaining buildings occupied.

To leave Schenectady would require a multi billion dollar superfund cleanup.

They knocked down buildings and shipped out most of the manufacturing, keeping just enough buildings to keep taxes low.

The GE pollution is massive and is buried behind the old buildings 85 and 89 were.

There is over 80 years of toxic waste buried there. I have seen it with my own eyes, as it was being buried, for decades.

Please don't think Obama's decision to do this was good and righteous to "save the environment".  Warren Buffett's railroad company Burlington North benefitted a great deal from blocking the Keystone Pipeline.  Instead of a pipeline that would get the Canadian oil to the U.S. cheaper, we instead force the the oil to be transported by rail car.  Because as we know, laying down railroad tracks, and diesel locomotive engines are cleaner than a pipeline.

Lefties eat the "save the environmental" sh!t up like the righties eat the "small government" sh!t up.  At the end of the day, all these decisions are made to enrich a select group of people.  They truly don't give a fu(k about the environment or small government or YOU and ME, they just need to convince the masses they care while they continue to take the lions share of the resources.

The pipeline was not going to get oil to US more cheaply. the pipeline was going to the gulf, for export.
The oil isn't going to the US, at all.
Did you really think they were installing spigots along the way so that people in Tulsa could get their oil cheaper?

That's rich. THE KEYSTONE LAWN SPRINKLER!
