My thesis is that Schenectady County - including Downtown - is in a Renaissance (which for the informed nayboobs means "rebirth") and is IMPROVING after years of failed GOP leadership in the city, county and state. In other words (for the nayboob dolts), it is now moving in the right direction from being a pathetic ghost town under Jurzynski, the GOP County Leg led by Boob Farley and the laughable mis-manager Governor George Pataki. I have consistently stated that there is still a lot of work to do and difficulties to be overcome. Unfortunately, the nayboobs (and in particular their leader - the cowardly cuckoo) either a) have a difficult time comprehending simple written English and also like to lie, distort and otherwise make total jack asses of themselves.
Does your "thesis" include stating that the city taxpayers, who pay almost the highest taxes in the whole dang country, are forced to bear the ADDITIONAL cost of paying for all the new buildings or renovations downtown?????? Well??????
Does your "thesis" include the FACT that all of the new downtown property is 100% tax exempt with no end date in site???
Does your "thesis" explain the rationale of having families, with incomes of just $37,000 to pay both their own property taxes AND the taxes of the millionaires and/or politically connected downtown? Does it DV???? Well??????
Does your "thesis" include the TRUTH that the wild uncontrolled spending of the taxpayers' money has resulted in a DRASTIC REDUCTION in the city's tax base???? Does it include that point, DV? Huh?????
Does your "thesis" include the fact that people cannot sell their homes? And that no one wants to buy houses in the city as proven by the many nice houses that are on the market for a year or more? Are you including that FACT????

So, does your "thesis" include the FACT that all the areas IN the city, but OUTSIDE of the downtown are quickly becoming ghost neighborhoods until it's a complete ghost town outside of downtown?????? Does it include that FACT DV???? Huh?????
Does your "thesis" include the FACTS about the ever increasing numbers of vacant and abandoned houses in the city? I trust you acknowledge that a ghost town means empty buildings, yes? Tell us what the neighborhoods are with empty houses? Explain that to us DV.
Since you state that "there still is a lot of work to do," does your thesis continue on with "and the work will be done at taxpayer expense"????
Tell us DV, list for us which businesses have initiated the choice themselves to move into downtown AND to do it WITHOUT you buddy dems stealing more money from the taxpayers--either via handouts to buy, fix, reno, or build new buildings and/or 100% tax exemptions. Come on DV, please provide the list of such businesses in your "thesis." Well, we are all still waiting.

Have we lied about the plummeting home values in the city? Have we lied about the drastically reduced tax base in the city---remember, a revitalized downtown was supposed to increase the tax base, so tell us DV, provide the numbers on how the tax base has increased. Have we lied about the inability for people to sell their homes? Have we lied about the taxes on the homeowners being increased so high that people are paying almost the highest taxes in the whole country? Have we lied about people losing their homes because of tax foreclosure because they are unable to pay their taxes? Have we lied about the area having one of the worst school systems and one of the lowest graduation rates and no choice whatsoever in education? Have we lied about having the highest (or almost the highest, I'd have to go back and look at the recent posts) crime rates and unemloyment rates?
Have we lied about all this DV????? Have we?
What truths have you told? You stated that the county taxes are the lowest in 50 years. We are ALL waiting for you to prove that is a true statement. You can't prove it because that statement IS A LIE----YOU ARE THE ONE WHO TELLS THE LIES.
Still waiting for you to provide the link to the FBI website that says crime in Schenectady is going down. You've been challenged to provide proof of that website with those alleged facts for over a year. Obviously you lied because you could never prove otherwise.
