His trillion in budget "savings" was money that was earmarked for the war and not spent. He says cut a trillion, but the deficit went up 5 trillion during his term...thank god he's not my accountant. Unless its at the government level, the government does not create businesses or jobs. He is so out of touch with what makes private commerce work its unreal. Americans didn't educate themselves because they weren't given the opportunity, it is compulsory in America. If you give people the CHOICE to pay for their own education through private means without being force to pay a school tax, the failed public education system will collapse. That is why it is compulsory.

My parents taxes paid for my education, my parents and I paid for my college education, and I got my own job with pension, health-care, dental, 401k, and stocks on my own no government help what so ever. I went to a private college not a state one and using I used to be an indian Warren says a lot. People don't need government to succeed just a willingness to work hard.

Now Shadow has changed his story... He DID NOT do it on his own! He tells us that "his parents paid taxes for his education... His Parents... not him. His neighbors who had no kids also paid those school taxes to educate Shadow... but he thinks he did it on his own. The community paid for the roads, the water, the sewer, the infrastructure that Shadow used... but he thinks he did it ALL on his OWN! Shadow says he paid for his College Education... So did Shadow pay to educate those college teachers? Did he pay for the building, the sports, the library... ALL ON HIS OWN? Of course not. None of us have.

I wonder if Shadow ever considered that those benefits and many more that HE GOT ALL ON HIS OWN... were the result of an concerted decades long effort of Labor Unions in this country. I think Planned Parenthood has a program to teach children how to property wipe their a** after a good healthy sh*t. After all, we can't leave it up to the parents to teach this. The spread of fecal borne illness in America needs to be addressed, so a** wiping will be a requirement in the school curriculum. Toilet paper companies will be subsidized and all households will be required to be stocked with toilet paper. Public restrooms will be required to post a poster in all shitter stalls instructing the proper government approved technique to wipe your a**.
I put my share of time out on the street during strikes for the benefits I have and all the government has done is to try to take them away from us. My tuition helped to pay the profs salaries and benefits along with the rest of the students no state help in those days. I haven't had a kid in school for 30 years and I'm still paying for someone elses kids, tit for tat. My parents paid for my elementary school education because a child can't work but I paid over half of my college education as my parents weren't rich I had to work to make up the difference. As a matter of fact Box as a union steward for over 25 years there were years when I did help to decide what benefits to go after and how much of a wage increase to seek. Only people with your ideology need government help to do everything for you and you have been taught nothing can be achieved without it. People succeeded long before there was a large intrusive government and many of the problems we have today were caused by government getting involved in areas that they should have stayed out of. The government tried to control SS, Medicare/Medicaid, and now health-care which is going to end up just like everything else that government has tried to control.
