In Mississippi, the average household earned a median of just $35,693 per year in 2008 and 2009.....

And in the City of Schenectady, the city that DV claims is in a wonderful renaissance, where dems claimed they "created" thousands of jobs, where DV posting under the name of his imaginary friend Glry posts that the economy is growing.....

The median HOUSEHOLD income in the CITY is $37,607.

And DV is the big cheerleader for requiring families with these incomes to pay the property taxes of the millionaires and dem political cronies downtown.    Is that appropriate for a member of the Rotterdam town planning committee, who does NOT pay taxes, to cheer for the wild spending on downtown by forcing these typical city families to go without personal necessities in order to pay for downtown?

People in the city would be better off moving to any of the "lowest income" states other than Mississippi!

Oh, wait, will DV buy their homes here so they can move?    ROFLMAO!!!!!!!

Wait, will ANYONE buy their homes here so they can move?    ROFLMAO !!!!!!!!!

Quoted from Glryinthhighest
-- and it economy is undergoing perhaps the greatest Renaissance in the NorthEast  The MAYOR is doing a SPLENDID JOB..   Anyone else who says differently is simply full of doggy doo.

Really?    Then explain WHY the median HOUSEHOLD income in the city is LESS THAN ALL but one of the median incomes in any state in the whole country????????

Can you explain that???????

HUH!  Interesting!  The bottom 10 poorest states are all Red States.  I wonder if continually voting
for Republicans has anything to do with their bottom of the USA Poverty?

Guaranteed, Ron will NOT respond, not under his DV name, not under his Glry name, not under his Hamburg name, not under----wait, he forgot the passwords he used for the rest of those names.

Most we can expect as a response will be an obscenity.

but 500% GUARANTEED, there will be no answer to the question to explain HOW the city is in this great economy.     And WHY no answer?   Because he cannot produce one teeny weeny shred of EVIDENCE to support such comments that he makes.

Socially conservative.

Oh, don't worry, the dem president keeps taxing us to give them handouts.

Similar to the dems in the City of Schenectady keep taxing the residents, except that the dems in the city and county do it to give handouts to their political cronies and the millionaires downtown.

Schenectady is worse than Hull, CA and Camden, NJ. But those cities had the fortune to have a State Control Board take over their finances from the DEM morons. Not Schenectady. Some of yous should get up to speed on the $7 MILLION deficit the City DEM morons created in one year before spouting more disinformation. Downtown revenues? lol. More like DEM friends and family club 1% tax breaks while the 99% of taxpayers get screwed.

Of course these numbers compare the average of an entire STATE to the average of One City... Schenectady.

Hmmm - South Carolina.

Isn't that place booming with new jobs, unlike NY - where we are losing TWO representatives?

Yeah, progressive policies are really working out for us here...

Jack I love how you read a post about how bad the earnings are in South Carolina and all of the least progressive states and see it as evidence of how bad progressive policies work.. lol I mean talking about being blinded by ideology. Sure things aren't the best here, but South Carolina's new job boom of super low paying menial jobs isn't really a sign of success either.

Not having a lot of $$$ is one thing....there will always be folks who have less and folks who have more......historical high crime and historical high taxes is yet another!!! And schenectady's residents have 'less than' in part due to the high taxes and high crime.....just to mention a few!

NYS is one of the highest taxed states in the country. The worse state in the country for business!!! And it's about as blue as blue can be!

Whatever.

I was referring to the insanity of the spend-till-you-drop government entitlement system that is causing businesses and people to leave in droves.

I would ever so slightly infer that neither are the downtown Sch'dy waiter/clerks ( at the movie house) etc./waitress/dishwasher/janitorial jobs at all the restaraunts a sign of success either of the downtown plan.    This despite the 100 mill. invested therein.   The details are in the numbers.

Yup!  NY State is a Proud Blue State!
As far as NY being the "worst state for business"... Consider this:

If New York State were a nation, it would rank as the 16th largest
economy in the world!
