More brains, bravery and competence from the yahoos. Break out the swastika armbands, Nazis are out and about and they have their jackboots shined up to kick in doors, any door.

The only thing unusual about that incident is that they admitted that they screwed up, which normally never happens, and if I'm not mistaken, they aren't held liable in most places even if they do screw up.

Wasn't there an incident on Wagner Street (?) in Rotterdam, a few years ago where they set the house on fire using flash-bang grenades even though the guy wasn't resisting?

EDIT: I found the story.

Wow these cops are lucky as hell that the inhabitants weren't armed because a new Indiana law was passed is to protect against illegal entries such as this.

http://news.yahoo.com/indiana-law-lets-citizens-shoot-cops-145000063.html

Now, what I do wonder is, because of this law, if an officer shoots and kills someone during an illegal entry...Would he/she be charged with murder?

Hard to say. I know they routinely kill any dogs that might be there, no matter what breed.

I'm not talking about dogs, I could give a crap about a dog(s) in this senario. WTF does a dog have to do with this?

It has to do with this used to be a country called the USA, and now Police are the new Gestapo but with less brains. Instead of picking up the person when they step out to buy groceries, this is the new wave of policing. Kick in doors, throw grenades and then see what comes up.

Retards that are a clear and present danger to American liberty.

They remind me of the Wold Bunch; "If they move, kill 'em."

I referring to the fact that they shoot first, and think later.
Everything about it favors the cowardly bullies, and "officer safety" is used to justify almost anything, including murdering uninvolved parties, and children.
If they shoot a dog during a botched raid, are they guilty of animal cruelty?

Dogs are property

In Indiana, no it doesn't...You obviously didn't read the law, nor did you read my post saying that the cops were 'lucky'

Are you f**king 'high'?...I asked that if an officer killed someone, would he be indited under this Indiana law...And your STILL talking about dogs.

GTFO!

Stop me if you've heard this one....Blow Me.
I was elluding to the fact that they shoot anything that moves, man, or beast, that even remotely startles them.
If they had no reason for being there in the first place, and hurt your dog, how is that any different than if some Buck Strider type comes in your yard and has his way with it? Do animal cruelty laws not apply?

OK, dogs are property. So if they shoot out your TV set during a bogus raid, are they responsible?

And yes, I'm familiar with the Indiana law, and was aware of it while it was first being proposed, and debated.
I'm also quite familiar with the "castle doctrine" which is in place in most states.

Quick Buck! Google "Castle Doctrine" so you can say you knew what it was.
