It's like dog turds or cat turds. Take your pick.

Well in this case, since it was proposed and introduced and even promoted to the Democrat Administrations
by the REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVES... as part of their bi-partisan support and a Republican compromise...
I'd say it was a REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVE, DOG/CAT TURD.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral

Box actually supports a compulsory payment to a private for-profit business.  Cool!

Box, you never got an argument from me that one party was more totalitarian fascist than the other.  You're not hurting my feelings - maybe Buckstrider's.

You still think there is a difference between the leadership of both parties.lol

Jezzzzzzzzz!  Ya'd think that ole' Cic would get it right just once... even if he got it right by mistake.
I support a universal mandate where every US Citizen is covered by health care insurance.
Both by private insurance companies regulated by the govt, where applicable...
or
by govt programs like meidcare or similar plans.

That's soooo funny...You said I didn't get it right about your support for compulsory payment to private health insurance companies, then you go and proclaim your support for compulsory payment to private health insurance companies.  PRICELESS.  Call Hilary and work on your double speak.

You did a better job a describing economic fascism than I did.

...does that negate your support for compulsory payment to private for-profit insurance companies in lieu of a tax penalty?

No of course not... just as in NY State where to drive a car, you must be insured.  To buy a home, it must
be insured to get a loan for that home.
To avoid taxpayers funding the (mostly) Republican posters who would avoid health insurance then
force their medical bills on the rest of society... I support the Republican innovation,Tax on that
mandate.

Box,  you are making yourself look foolish trying to walk a partisan line.  It is an easy yes or no question. I don't need the rest of the BS filler to justify your support for compulsory payment to for-profit insurance companies.

The Democrat Party passed a law on pure partisan lines, mandating ALL Americans buy health insurance just for being alive. Insurance companies will make BILLIONS in return, but I guess Wall St. "fat cats" can make billions off of lord Obama's law without being demonized.

How's it feel to be a fascist?

You must live in a black and white world where there is no grey areas.  Do you like hamburgers or hot dogs???
There is no other answer... you can't opt for both or neither or any room for a changing appetite.

Cic... Are those on Medicare forced to buy from a private for profit insurance company???
Are those who are destitute with no income forced to buy from a private for profit insurance company???

As I posted above, (but you seem incapable of comprehending) Obama care will be a blend of several
plans.
~  Govt run (Medicare & Medicaid type plans)
~ Private insurance employer based plans,
and
~Govt managed - private insurance company, state-run health exchanges.

You just posted:

Because you seem incapable of understanding that concept, doesn't change the fact that those different
choices exist.

A quite typical Right Wing Reaction...
The Fear Factor is SOCIALISM!!!  (Long Blood Curdling Scream)
This LTE isn't about ObamaCare, it actually concerns a very successful propaganda campaign based on fear.
The Right Wing establishment is running from Socialism as if ObamaCare = Socialism.

Who will you be dealing with when you buy this mandated insurance???
The SOCIALIST Government????
NO!
You'll be buying from private commercial insurance companies, just like pre Obamacare.

This is really funny!

Don't tell me that that's F'EN American???
NO???
It isn't "American"???

Now I'm a NAZI... no wait... A "DAMN NAZI" because I believe in universal health care for ALL Americans???

I think Senders just blew a circuit breaker in his brain.  (Caused by 'Fear of Socialism', no doubt)

what is it that upsets you that some folks just don't have health insurance? they have healthcare, which is PERSONAL.
we have FORCED 'wellness visits' to 'promote' better healthCARE...then complain that it is just too expensive...

preventative medicine was an oxymoron and forced the cost up...

so now there's a bunch of folks who 'feel bad' and think that what I have worked for and earned I should share...

I'm all about the cup of sugar/loaf of bread/the casserole etc.....

but changing human thought from self-survival into 'preventative medicine'/healthcare/healthinsurance is insidious as it
eats that part of one's soul out....

bad things happen in life, always have and always will.....we will ALWAYS be chasing the ATLEASTS....society is
not an amoeba...I am me and you are you....

every time there's an election one more F'EN thing gets the "at least we could do this and add this and do that"...

it's the pebbles in the pond......

BTW...I have a cup of sugar if you need some.....but I won't show you my papers

If you make $100K per year, do you get penalized if you do not own private health insurance under Obamacare?  What choice do they have - buy private insurance, pay a fine, or quite you job and earn a lower wage so you qualify for government insurance?  What-a-choice.

You are the one that brought up the issue of 1% that can afford health insurance but choose not to purchase it.  You are the one that favors the government threatening a penalty if you do not purchase corporate health insurance.  That is fascism, the insurance industry wrote the health care law.  Please do not think that law was written by the average joe to benefit the average joe.

Compulsory payment to a corporate for-profit insurance company IS black and white.  I know you want to nuance it and sound pragmatic, fact is, people are penalized by law for not purchasing a product from a private for-profit company.

How does it feel to be fascist?

Yes. Some where around 1% by the Republican data they presented, are Dead Beats who earn enough
to buy health care insurance, but don't buy it and push the cost of their health care on to the taxpayers.
So... SOME people, a small number of people will be forced to buy health insurance (the Republican Plan)
from a private for profit company.

Also around 50 million Americans will finally be able to buy health insurance from a private for profit health
insurance company... and they will be so thankful that Obama care will give them that opportunity.

As to your question... "How does it feel to be fascist?"
I would have no way of knowing the answer to that question... I've never been a fascist.

there are issues about healthcare not covering chronic pre-existing diagnosis...why?

BECAUSE THEIR OWN DATA ABOUT CURE AND PREVENTION IS MANIPULATED

should everyone have access to emergency care---ABSOLUTELY

does one always need 'therapy'....or shall we say a 'private trainer'....as much as I find the body interesting and cool and therapy
interesting because of the anatomy alone.

folks need to do a better job themselves at knowing their bodies...NO ONE IS MORE OF AN EXPERT ON YOUR BODY THAN YOURSELF

YOU ARE
