While A-lam sounds the A-larm, these guys plan for electric car stations. That is like the captain of the Titanic ordering new silverware for First Class via radio from the Carpathia while they waited to go down.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

It's the $7 MILLION DEM deficit-stupid! Instead of Electric Cars these DEM morons should be resigning en masse. No plans-no ideas-no cuts-no layoffs-instead more cameras and more idiot green initiatives to flush taxpayer money. The raping of the Schenectady taxpayer continues...More at 11PM!

I am PROUD of our Mayor -- as is the rest of the City..   This move is a smart considering the FACT that these charging stations will cost us NOTHING --- and will HELP the ongoing Renaissance.  Now it is time for him and the rest of the City Council to find ways to consolidate functions and services.  Ultimately I would like to see our Mayor become Mayor of a consolidated and enlarged City/County of Schenectady.

Of course, it will cost YOU nothing because YOU do NOT pay taxes!!!!!!!

Now, explain how it will not cost the rest of us nothing?

Of course, no explanation, as usual

It is quite obvious that this was NOT posted by me or anyone who actually knows me.  The only thing that I remotely agree with is consolidation into a City/County --- the rest is just laughable.

Schenectady is another Camden NJ only the State DEMS don't have the guts to take it over from the local working together politards. This story is another waste of newsprint and the reason the Gazetto keeps going down the tubes. Try doing an investigation on the City Car scandal or inability of McCheese and his 6 DEM puppets to cut ANYTHING. Anyone that still supports these DEM morons should be institutionalized.

If electric charging stations were economically viable/profitable --- how come Stewart's, Sunoco, Mobil et al. are not rushing to add them to their stations?  And when they do become viable and profitable -- let the private sector build them with their own money.

Besides, I thought they were just arguing a few months ago that the city owned too many cars and that the city had no money so they had to try to resort to mugging ... I mean taxing ... churches and non-profits to raise revenue.   So now the city seems to have the money to buy MORE cars .. and MORE EXPENSIVE cars at that .. and pay for additional infrastructure to maintain those cars.
