With the exception of Schoharie Co--which is higher--and of course, given the devastation from the hurricane that's undersandable.

So, in return for having the HIGHEST TAXES in the state, in return for the taxpayers being robbed so the dems can give lavish money on millionaires, and in return for having the HIGHEST CRIME, and in return for the dema claiming they are doing oh so much...

Schenectady has the highest unemployment.   All that tax money STOLEN from homeowners to give to downtown and still the unemployment is going up up

IT'S THE RENAISSANCE!

ALBANY — There was little encouraging news in Tuesday's regional unemployment report from the state Labor Department.

While the number of Capital Region residents with a job climbed by 2,100 from year-earlier levels, the number of unemployed looking for work rose even more, up 3,700, boosting the unemployment rate to 7.6 percent in May.

A year ago, it was just 6.8 percent.

Every county in the five-county metropolitan area saw an increase.

Albany County's rate rose to 7.4 percent from 6.7 percent; Rensselaer County's climbed to 7.9 percent from 7.1 percent; Saratoga County's went from 6.3 percent to 7.1 percent; Schenectady County's went to 8.0 percent from 7.3 percent; and Schoharie County's rate rose to 8.8 percent from 8.1 percent.

Officials last week said rising jobless rates weren't a surprise. In referring to an increase in the statewide rates, one analyst had this to say:

"The latest statistics show that New York's private sector employers continued to add jobs, while over 28,000 job seekers re-entered the labor force," said Bohdan M. Wynnyk, deputy director of the Labor Department's Division of Research and Statistics. "As the economy continues to improve, more people tend to enter the labor force.

"As a result, the increase in the number of job seekers pushed up the state's jobless rate in May," he added.

If you went to college and took more than a rudimentary economics course (Box of Rox took ZERO) then you would know this is a double dip recession that is going in for the second dip. Of course you can't make sense to people with GEDs who want to talk eco. Unless they weren't insulated in a fairy tale like most of them are out there. People who have a GED and live in the real world are exempt from my comments. If they ever made a payroll successfully then they are double exempt.

These NYS statistics cannpt be correct! The Gazetto and McCheese repeatedly parroted how many jobs Death Ray created. Of course total County jobs are DOWN under these tax crazed idiots. No business person in their right mind will set up shop in this DEM ruined County. Unless they get the Death Ray governmental schmear. More proof of the "amazing turn around" under these clueless uneducated DEM politards.

How do you have a double dip recession when we never got out of the first one?

The second dip doesn't necessarily mean you got back to the status quo of before the first dip.  It only means there was slight improvement for 2 quarters.  Here's a link to a definition...

The working together DEM morons allegedly created 5,000 new jobs. But total jobs increase and unemployment is the highest in the Capital District. If you want to see the amazing turnaround in action go to the Food Pantry.

In the game of espionage and ideological subversion, the ex KGB Yuri Bezmenov called this 'normalization'.  Those things mentioned above is the new normal in America, they are not going away.
