NJ is becoming like NannY.

Quoted Text
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Click it or ticket. It’s not just for people anymore — at least in the Garden State.

Police and animal control officers are authorized to cite drivers with unrestrained animals in the car. Yes, that includes the back of a pickup truck too. Violators can be fined $250 to $1,000 per offense.

Ray Martinez, head of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, just wants to avoid distracted driving.

“People actually driving with a dog or a cat on their laps. It’s not cute. It’s actually dangerous for the driver. It’s dangerous for other drivers and it’s dangerous for that pet.”

Dogs can be placed in harnesses that click right into the seat belt buckle. Cats don’t take well to harnesses for the most part, so they need to go in a carrier. And th
e carrier needs to be buckled down.

Actually, there's at least one way that NJ is already a little bit more nanny, but it also SAVES those in NJ money.  They're not allowed to pump their own gas.  Of course, they don't have to pay the extra fees / taxes in case of spills (by the way, gas prices in NJ are currently as low as $3.13... http://www.newjerseygasprices.com/  vs $3.57 being the lowest in the capital region http://albanygasprices.com/.

There should be a law passed saying that we have reached the limit on laws. If you want to submit a new law you must delete one from the books.

I have to say that one day at a stop light, there was a guy with 2 dogs on his lap. I figured he would move them once the light turned green.........but he didn't!

I'm not one for more laws...since God only knows that we have more than enough....but common sense should be in order here....yes?

But in any case....be ready for that law to pop up in NYS. One follows the other historically!! Well, except for the pumping gas thing.

and the pitbulls march on....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

My wife screamed 'Oh my GOD! You predicted this a few months ago!"

That is because they suck the pets dicks now. It is really out of control. especially with armed government terrorists like Tully running around.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
