all a snowjob

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

This is one way to keep up with crime....but what if the stolen bike is used for a crime......like it was in Troy or Albany...stolen bikes need to be found.

they never did find the shooter on bike where victim died....or did they...lost track of what is happening in area.....seems that might be one reason for stolen bikes
now the perps know what the plan is......

Hire more policemen......get rid of the employee cars.....stop wasting money on Erie Blvd....and downtown.....and get to work cleaning up the city...

if that can't be done....get the STATE police in here.....

It's time to act...seems the city officials aren't doing it right....

there are NOT enough consequences for bad behavior...we spend too much time with 'feel good' crap....put some teeth in what exists.....
maybe Tonko and company need to spend more time policing folks and making them feel good about themselves, the churches did it under the guise of religion,
let the policos do it under the guise of 'look what I did for you'....

A fish rots head first. The problem is, was, continues to be incompetents ruining City Hall. McMayor touted himself as a job creator and "law enforcement expert". Total BS that just enough Schenectady Syndrome victims  fell for. Supposedly. Animal Control needs to be fully staffed. No one on call Saturday morning and not enough coverage for all the loose pits. Mandatory dog insurance is the most idiotic new law these DEM morons ever proposed. BT's story is being repeated time after time as the pit bull population explodes in the Vampire City. There is no more blood to suck nor carcasses to pick over.

Jack Bauer - More bodies would be helpful but the tax base can only handle so much.

RE: tip of the iceberg - there are not really many more calls they can do online.  For example, car larcenies (thefts form cars) will not be taken online.

Not a cureall but it will help to some degree.

Yeah I know.

The problem is that the progressive idiots running our city are busy wasting money fixing State Street and Erie Boulevard, claiming everything is freaking awesome...  And the rest of the city burns.

I agree with the State St. part of that - but Erie Blvd was, for the most part, a grant that can't be used for anything else.  I know PART of the money used is from the city, but most of it is from the state and feds (which, I know, also comes out of our pockets).

There's a LOT of waste in this city/county (including multiple levels of govt, schools, etc) that COULD be used however.

Yes I know the origin of those funds, however we are $5MM in the hole, so any costs are a big deal.

Also...

The city is out of money
The state is out of money
The feds are out of money

A bunch of morons like Nancy running around saying everything is great, full speed ahead on the printing of Federal Reserve notes.

even if there were more police officers to catch more criminals

1. where would they be kept
2. what's the consequence
3. what's the judge say
etc etc etc.....

beating out the rug to get all those bugs out, makes one have to decide what to do with all those bugs....do we have the fortitude to 'LOOOOOVE' all those bugs
into humaneness according to the mantra of the commune lovers?

I see the class offered via SCCC that trains folks to be certified nurses aides.....haven't seen much but 'street'.....let me know how that lovin' works out...they are the
boomers caretakers......

can you feel the love?

however they will get charged by the AG if found to be ANYTHING the health dept wants them to be, even though they were ill-equiped at the get-go.....
so I guess that's one way to filter...
