...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I bet that is all rigged from the get-go!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The City DEM morons violate the City residency laws, violate union agreements and violate affirmative action laws to take care of or their own who was canned by the State. Crisis what crisis? The worst in Marion Poterfield who voted to screw the minority community that screamed for months for your appointment. An alternate universe where McMayor refuses to do anything while City finances crash in flames.

Isn't this exactly the same way our City found itself with free healthcare for life for City workers and overtime for salaried positions?

Isn't this the reason the City Council made it mandatory for job positions to be cleared by them before hiring anybody?

How is it that the code office is running the show?

McCarthy better get a Mc spinal column before next years deficit runs over the current $5 million.

When pigs fly? At least Nero fiddled. And this just in from McMayor's s*** plant-it's losing money! According to the corrupt DEM machine it would generate over $1 million a year. Anyone with half a brain cell realized the increased salaries and benes would eat up any potential savings. Then news that the scrubbers are wearing out. Another green fiasco ala Solyndra. Every time the DEM morons mention green jobs they mean snow jobs and taxpayer rip off. The City is finished. The sooner Gov Cuomo comes in and appoints a control board the better. Everything Roger Hull said has come true in six months.

Wow, this is unethical. Unfortunately the Dept of Labor treats private companies and municipalities differently. I sense corruption of a large magnitude within this administration, I think this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Soon it will only be the city that hauls a$$ for people to get out, instead of the "City that lights and hauls the world."

As far as anyone can tell -- NO laws were broken, nor was there any "unethical" or unsavory about this appointment. I wish the appointee well, and hope that the Mayor and his staff continue their successful work on our ongoing Renaissance.  That is all I have to say on the matter.

Marion Poterfield votes AGAINST enforcing Federal Affirmative Action Laws! Another new low even for these City DEM morons. November cannot come soon enough to dump this McCheese stooge. A nonresident, in violation of Federal Affirmative Action/union rules is appointed even though the City is belly up. Renaissance? For bankruptcy, moving van companies and foreclosure attorneys. Keep the DEM implosion going!

And the pay increases to $25.00 hr. in the second year.   More than likely the hope is if the city financial picture brightens after the 2 year temp. designation expires, a perm. post is created, then slide the person into a full timepost with all the benefits.   It can then be said who is more qualified then this person with 2 yrs. experience.   On the job experience.

If I had a job lined up, I certainly would appreciate a 25% pay increase per year too.

Unethical? It's illegal under Federal Affirmative Action law. The appointed black council person APPROVES it. She votes in FAVOR of this illegal outrage.Marion Poterfield must resign in disgrace. She lacks the backbone to stand up to McCheese on even an affirmative action matter than she is totally useless. No one can believe that Marion Poterfield voted to ignore Federal Affirmative Action LAW. Another new low for the DEM implosion team. Another only in Schenectady. Keep working together toward bankruptcy- lol.
