CBS-6 did yet another expose on McMayor and his City Hall crew last night. Of 400 City vehicles-100 were involved in an accident LAST YEAR. Because of total DEM incompetence and mismanagement City liability insurance was RAISED $1,400,000! Another new low for the working together all DEM politards.
Everyone is talking about this latest DEM scandal except the Gazetto who is more concerned about raising the State minimum wage and throwing a million people off the State job rolls. Talk 1300 AM spent an hour slamming McMayor and Schenectady's implosion. It should be clear to everyone that the DEMS cannot manage the City, it's over their heads and they have no clue how to resolve the many problems they created. Gov Cuomo must takeover and appoint a State Control Board to oversee day to day management.
1300 talk radio......Paul Vandenburg show is BLASTING the city of schenectady...........and there are callers (victims) calling in doing the same!!!!!

Of course, DV aka Glry aka Ham aka Monologue aka Gravel aka Scots aka whoever else lurks, well, wonder why he didn't call the show to talk positively about the city. What's the matter?
Can you imagine
Paul: "OK, John, who've we got up next" John: "Ron in Rotterdam" Paul: "Hi Ron in Rotterdam, how are you out in Rotterdam" DV: "I'm calling about Schenectady and frankly I'm not too good right now, I" Paul: "Well I wouldn't think anyone would be good if talking about Schenectady." DV: "I used to live in Schenectady and it truly is a delightful place to live and" Paul: "What? But you aren't in the city now, why did you move out?' DV: "Paul, with all due respect, may I finish my sentence, could I please? Paul: "OK, go ahead" DV: "It truly is a delightful city, there are so many services, and" Paul: "What services, Ron? What services to you get in the city that you don't get elsewhere?" DV: "Schenectady has water, sewer, and trash and" Paul: "But I live in Clifton Park and I have those services too and I don't pay nearly as much as in Schenectady" DV: "and we have the wonderful downtown and" Paul: "Downtown? Oh come on, Ron, what's down there? You're not one of those history fanatics wanting everything the way it used to be, are you Ron? Because I've got news for you, those days are gone. DV: "As a matter of fact, I have a love of history, and Schenectady is a very historical city. Schenectady is coming back, businesses are moving there, downtown was nothing for a long time, now we have theaters, hotels, bakeries, lovely restaurants for dining, Metroplex hel" Paul: "Oh, Metroplex. Ron, it's all funded by the taxpayers. Did you see that report last night on Ch 6, the house in Schenectady pays three, four times more than other areas. $11,183 a year in taxes, that $200,000 house, Ron, do the math, with 20% down and 4% interest then you'd pay $763 a month for the house and the escrow for taxes each month is $931! And that's this year. Wait til the school taxes increase in September. And the city is in the hole $5 million, what will that do to the property taxes for next year? And the effect of the assessments dropping will drive up the tax rate even more, and that will drive up the tax bills. Ron, in the surrounding areas buyers could opt for a 15 year mortgage at 4% for the same price house and the total monthly mortgage payment--meaning principal, interest and taxes--would be still less than the 30 year deal in Schenectady, Ron!" DV: "Schenectady is so historical, the delightful and quaint neighborho" Paul: "You're not answering the question, Ron, it's all funded by taxpayer money, there's no private businesses downtown. People can't afford all these tax handouts to privates, just like the Abu Dhabi. Watch when the tax money is gone how quick they will leave." DV: "Schenectady has these great neighborhoods, you can take your girl for a pleasant evening walk and" Paul: "Ron, I can take my wife for a walk in my neighborhood too and not worry about getting killed by gunfire, you're not even listening." DV: "Paul, Schenectady is in the midst of a grand renaissance and" Paul: "RENAISSANCE!? Renaissance, Ron? Ron, show me proof of this renaissance to claim. Where's the increase in the tax base? What's happened to the taxes? Look at the property values. Give me some proof. Ron, you said you used to live in the city, tell us why you don't live there now, why not Ron?" DV: "Oh you are just one of the nayboobs of negativity, and you can just G. F... Y.......!" CLICK [few seconds of dead air] Paul: "Whoa! What was that? John, that didn't get on the air, did it? John: "I'm checking, it all happened so fast I'm not sure it was edited out." Paul: "Oh man!" John: (in a kind of whisper) "No, it wasn't bleeped out, sorry Paul." Paul: "ok John, don't worry about that now. Oh folks, I apologize so much. Thankfully it's a school day and your children didn't have to hear that. John's so good about editing, we're on a few second delay anyway," John: "Yeah, I thought I bleeped it, those few seconds that seemed to be dead air, but in the jaw dropping reaction at that moment, yes I'm sorry too." Paul: "Again, folks, OH, I have to recoup from that. We're so sorry folks, that last comment should have never gotten on the air. I guess we can take our ne What? John what's the matter?" John: "We have word that the caller Ron was, or is, on the Rotterdam planning board." Paul: "What? Oh man! That guy is or was on the Rotterdam planning board?" "This is happening in every Northeast City"? McMayor didn't know about this. McMayor had nothing to do with this. WTF X3! You wanted one party DEM working together implosion you got it in spades. Paul V couldn't get over the lack of urgency the do nothing approach of this corrupt City DEM crew. If this was the Titanic no one would load the life boats or fire a signal flare. What me worry?
If the City is stupid enough to pay an addition $1.8 million for auto insurance there's only two solutions here:1) End private use of City vehicles/cut the fleet from 400 to 100...this will never happen so.. 2) If a City employee is driving such vehicles to and from home....BUY YOUR OWN INSURANCE! There's no law that the City has to pay insurance on all these vehicles, but what City employee wants to pay insurance on a brand new vehicle? Maybe those pesky residency requirements might start coming into play if employees lose their free cars and free auto insurance on the taxpayers dime.
The DEMS are that stunad. And that's too mild a word. The only ones that need a City car are the police and fire chief. Of course neither lives in the City. They refuse to understand the importance of high taxes. The busted City does not need a huge private fleet that employees can treat like bumper cars. How can 25% of the City fleet be damaged in one year without fraud and total mismanagement? The City DEMS morons want MORE vehicles. You can't make it up.

Welcome To Camden North. Home the City DEM moron aka working together team. They can't budget, that can't enforce residency laws, they can't deal with pit bulls/gangs but they truly understand the importance of high taxes. Got over assessed property? Thank McMayor and his 6 team mates.

Real classic. Of course Paul V would never keep him on the air for so long and DVR would never have the nerve to call and face the music. The City DEMS are a total joke. They have destroyed City finances and worse have no clue on how to undo the damage they alone caused. Layoff? Naah...Mayor Al was on Talk 1300 AM laughing his a** off at horrible McMayor. Al's $700,000 debt BAD/DEMS $6 MILLION debt GOOD.

so much play on DV.....concentrate on getting these bums out of office ASAP....anyone want to run???? would be a hell of a lot better than what there is now
