You are right IF they did what was right and eliminated the property tax but you know and we all know (except J.O. Box who defends the political class every inch of the way) that they would just take that money and KEEP the prop tax and then BLOW IT ALL ON WASTEFUL SPENDING!

If they want to raise the water fees, can they justify the added burden to the home owner? What upgrades and maintenance have the performed on the water lines to justify an increase which the current budget doesn't already cover?
Certainly, they are not going to tax the water use and spend the money in a different line item? It isn't just one big pot for everyone to put their hands in. |
