HAWAII FIVE-O: SHERIFF JOE SENDS DETECTIVES TO HONOLULU
Cold Case Posse seeks to crack mystery of Obama's birth 50 years ago

Published: 9 hours ago

In a major development in his probe of Barack Obama’s eligibility for Arizona’s 2012 presidential ballot, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has dispatched his lead Cold Case Posse investigator and a deputy detective to Hawaii.

The mission to Obama’s purported birthplace comes as the Hawaii Department of Health continues to resist efforts by Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett to verify that the Honolulu agency has a valid birth certificate on file for Obama.

Former Bergen County, N.J., detective Mike Zullo and his volunteer team were commissioned by Arpaio last September to investigate Obama’s eligibility after citizens raised concerns about the authenticity of the birth record the White House posted on its website. Zullo’s team announced March 1 that it found probable cause that the document is a forgery.

Zullo’s investigation is a volunteer effort, but the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has sent him to Hawaii with an MCSO deputy detective for safety reasons and to act as a liaison between MCSO and local law enforcement.

WND reporter Jerome Corsi is embedded with the investigators in Hawaii with the provision that reporting during the trip be curtailed to protect the investigation.

Arpaio told WND Friday that the Hawaii Department of Health’s refusal to confirm to Bennett that it has a valid Obama birth certificate on file makes it look like Hawaii officials “are hiding something.”

Bennett has said that he might keep Obama’s name off of the state’s presidential ballot if he doesn’t receive the confirmation.

Eight weeks ago, the secretary of state asked Hawaii officials merely for an email confirming the Department of Health has a certified copy of the birth certificate, but Hawaii officials have not complied.......................>>>>............................>>>>.....................http://www.wnd.com/2012/05/hawaii-five-o-sheriff-joe-sends-detectives-to-honolulu/

Hawaii tells Sheriff Joe to get lost!

Hawaiian officials have apparently had enough of your requests for President Barack Obama’s birth certificate
and they’re not afraid to tell you where to get off, even if you are Arizona’s Secretary of State Ken Bennett
or a special delegation sent by Maricopa County’s controversial “Sheriff Joe.”

~Hawaii sent back a list of web sites with photos of the actual birth certificate.

~Bennett’s office replied on March 30 that if they could not have a certified copy of the actual birth certificate
sent to them, then they would need the Department of Health to verify the details of Obama’s birth and
parentage and fill out an enclosed form. The email also requested that department officials verify that the
copy of the birth certificate released by the White House matches the document on file in Hawaii.

~On April 16, Bennett emailed again asking what was taking so long. Nagamine replied that she would
check with the Department of Health to see if they had received Bennett’s request. Two weeks later,
on May 1, Arizona’s Deputy Secretary of State Jim Drake emailed, insisting that he needs Hawaii’s help
to quell suspicions about the president’s legitimacy.

~ Nagamine wrote back demanding verification that they were qualified to seek verification of the president’s
birth. “My client, the Department of Health, has forwarded your request for verification of President Obama’s
birth record to me,” she wrote, “We need more information to substantiate that you are eligible to receive
verification.”

~Bennett huffily replied, “As the chief elections officer for the State of Arizona and pursuant to Arizona
Revised Statutes, sections 16-212, 16-301, 16-502, 16-507 and others, my office is tasked with quadrennially
compiling a list of candidates for the Office of the President of the United States.”

~Nagamine’s response on Saturday, May 19 was to again request verification of Bennett’s legitimacy to
receive the information, and to point out that the statues of Arizona law he directed her to in his email
were not in fact germane to the discussion, but rather pertain to “election of presidential electors,
nomination of candidates for printing on official ballot of general or special election, form and contents
of ballot, and presentation of presidential candidates on ballot.”
She concluded that “none, as far as I can tell, establish the authority of the Secretary of State to maintain
and update official lists of persons in the ordinary course of his activities.

~On Saturday, Arizona Republican Senator John McCain assured the public in an interview with
Arizona’s KPNX, “The president of the United States is not going to be taken off the ballot.” Some
have speculated that Bennett’s decision to play to the “birther” elements of the electorate is a
purely political gambit on his part ahead of a run for governor in 2014.

~This morning, Arizona’s embattled Sheriff Joe Arpaio confirmed that he sent a deputy from his
“threats unit” to Hawaii, along with a volunteer tasked with investigating the matter. They arrived
in Hawaii on Monday and flashed badges at Hawaii Department of Health personnel, announcing
that they had been sent by the State of Arizona.
When quizzed by reporters as to what specific threats necessitate such measures, Arpaio cited
“security issues…that I can’t got into.”

Don't ya just love  Birthers!   >

So why did Obama's PR agent publish a biography of his client that said he was born in Kenya 17 years before he ran for President?

No one has answered that question yet.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Yes it was... That question was answered here last week.  The agent said that she made a mistake.

From Yahoo NEWS:
Obama's former literary agency misidentified his birthplace as Kenya while trying to promote the
then-Harvard Law grad as an author in 1991.

According to a promotional booklet produced by the agency, Acton & Dystel, to showcase its roster
of writers, Obama was "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency,
which lists Obama as one of its current clients.

"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me--an agency assistant at the time,"
Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. "There was never any information given
to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way
that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that
this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

ABC NEWS;
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics.....6372566#.T7vJPEX-fSU

(Breitbart.com was told of the error, but somehow Braitbart has neglected to give that information much
publicity.  They prefer to continue the hoax.)

If a publisher mistakenly printed on a flyer that Mitt Romney was born in Soviet Russia... would that make it so???
Even after Mitt published his original birth Certificate? And thousands of people Fact Check'd the story...
all saying that Mitt was born in Detroit Michigan, USA... Would you believe the mistaken publisher instead of
hundreds of other reliable sources???

Well... maybe YOU would!  Most Americans wouldn't.

America rejected the Birthers view when they elected Obama in 2008.  The more the Right pushes this
"non-issue" the more likely that Obama will be reelected.

Obama is vulnerable on jobs and the economy... so the out of touch Righties, push the Birther meme.
It kind of shows you why Obama was elected in the first place... either a President who is working to
better our country or one only obsessed with the bogus half baked, Birther agenda.
Since the Republicans feel that they can't beat Obama on facts and issues... they resort to this lame
excuse for a campaign.

Next... bring out the Swift Boaters!!!   >

Still not sure why it took a decade to correct the mistake.  Certainly they knew Obama was listed on their website when it was created/updated - something just doesn't make sense.

If I were the clerk who originally wrote the mistake... and no one brought it to my attention, how would I know
to correct a mistake I didn't know that I had made.

The person who made this mistake could have also typed in that Obama was a Female...
Barack isn't a common name and the clerk might have assumed that Barack Obama was
a woman... Would that make Barack a woman???
Then why would a similar mistake make him a Kenyan???

If a mistake of this kind were to be made... what are the chances that it would be discovered 6 months
before an election?
It was there for 10 years... why did Breitbart just push this lame excuse for a campaign issue now???
Of course we all know it was politically motivated.

If the clerk had typed by mistake that Barack Obama was born in 1951, instead of in 1961... would that
make Obama 10 years older???
Ask any Birther and they'll tell you YES!  Birthers would say:
"Still not sure why it took a decade to correct the mistake." Just like MT did.

If you were writing a BIO for the President of the United States - a decade later - you'd want to make sure facts were correct. You'd especially be looking at it saying "ya, we wrote a bio about him" - nobody's looked at it? I find that very hard to believe that it was written and completely forgotten about for a decade - especially after elected President of the United States.

Something just doesn't add up.

I never claimed to be a "birther" - I just think this raises legitimate questions.

Obvious errors of history... much more noticeable than some obscure publisher error:

1. An Australian physicist has uncovered an error in dictionary definitions that has likely
stood uncorrected for a century.
Stephen Hughes found that entries for the word 'siphon' incorrectly said atmospheric pressure
is the force that allows the device to move liquids from one place to another.
It is gravity that moves the fluid in a siphon, with the water in the longer downward arm pulling
the water up the shorter arm,  he said.
~"Something just doesn't add up."

2. For about 100 years the scientists had the wrong head on some dinosaur bones.
Brontosaurus is the name of a dinosaur that is found in books prior to 1989.  It is pictured as a
gigantic creature with an unusually long neck and tail. Although the Brontosaurus is one of the
most widely known dinosaurs, it never really existed.  There was a conflict among diggers and one
group put the wrong bones together to construct the giant dinosaur. The wrong head remained for
about 100 years even though many people knew it was wrong.

And:

3. Obama's former literary agency misidentified his birthplace as Kenya while trying to promote the
then-Harvard Law grad as an author in 1991.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been paying a defense contractor $11.4 million to monitor social media websites and other Internet communications to find criticisms of the department’s policies and actions.

A government watchdog organization, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), obtained hundreds of documents from DHS through the Freedom of Information Act and found details of the arrangement with General Dynamics. The company was contracted to monitor the Web for “reports that reflect adversely on DHS,” including sub-agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Citizenship and Immigration Services, Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In testimony submitted to the House Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, Ginger McCall, director of EPIC’s Open Government Project, stated that “the agency is monitoring constantly, under very broad search terms, and is not limiting that monitoring to events or activities related to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or manmade disasters….The DHS has no legal authority to engage in this monitoring.”

McCall added: “This has a profound effect on free speech online if you feel like a government law enforcement agency—particularly the Department of Homeland Security, which is supposed to look for terrorists—is monitoring your criticism, your dissent, of the government.”
