A Tale Of Two Cities, Dickens tale lives again in America.  I watched a BBC production of A Tale Of Two Cities, the parallel between what was France in the 1790's & the rhetoric of 2012 in America is chilling.  The primary difference between France then & America now is we have an 'efficient' entitlement system.

As an aristocrat attempts to enter France a 'revolutionary guard' (Iranish isn't it?) arrest him.  The aristocrat is told the old laws are no more, "we have new laws in France".  Political correctness with a sharp blade.  With nearly 50% of Americans on the dole in some fashion revolution could come to America.  A revolution of wealth distribution.

Tryvon (the young lad who died in Florida) did for race relations in America what a little French boy run down by an aristocrat in a street in Paris did for class relations in France.

In France the blue bloods mistreated the people they had dominion over.  The 'liberators' brought terror to the liberated.  It is always this way.  America in 1776 was an exception to this rule.  An exceptional revolution for an exceptional people.  American exceptionalism is under attack, America is exceptional, this is a good thing.

America is being robbed of it's self esteem.  What is replacing self esteem based on traditional values will bring more pain & suffering to the world.  Did the Russian, French & Iranian Revolutions bring liberation or pain?  Whatever Americas imperfections are, they are fixable.  Unfortunately our political structure is hell bent on destroying America.

Envy & freeloading do not make a great nation.  A 'great' revolution, maybe. This is where America is heading.

PS  Did I omit the Nazi's?
