Why aren't we all eating Bison?

that's pathetic that us as a society are promoting green markets for low income folks....why is it in our brain that the 'easy way' is AWAY from the land...?

you cant put survival INTO someone.....you either have it or you don't....

"I wish someone would do something"
"I wish I had what Trump has"
"I wish it were easier"
"I wish my cell phone bill wasn't $300"
"I wish ...I wish...I wish....."

taking away human's spark to survive make choices and accept consequences is a dangerous game played by leadership.....

eventually we run out of leaders and only have the status quo left....no forward movement just different labels and podium pucks.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Any reasonable and intelligent person would understand that greenmarkets promote LOCAL growers and producers AND encourage people to buy and eat healthy food.   This is a great use of taxpayer money because it supports SMALL LOCAL farmers and producers.  New York State needs to invest monies in support of its once great Agricultural Industry.   I am hoping that next year 10 times more money is budgeted for this program so that MANY MORE greenmarkets can be established across the state.

Yeah, how's the city doing these days?   How's it doing with all the money flushed into downtown and handouts to businesses?   Huh?    Can't answer, can you!

Well, come on DV, too chicken to answer and provide evidence of how much better the is?  All the government (i.e., taxpayers') handouts to programs like these, and tell us, DV, tell us how the city finances are?  City with $5 mil deficit, can you explain to us what effect that will have on home values?   City with $5 mil deficit, can you tell us what effect this will have on the taxes that the homeowners pay?

Can you please explain why your renaissance city is in BIG DEEP DOO DOO financially?????    Well????    Got an answer?????    Of course NOT.   Much too chicken to admit that the dems are a big failure.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Personally, I can't wait for the first crops of eggplant, tomatoes and other fresh veggies to hit the local farmstands.   Just slice them up and grill them up and serve them with some locally made mozzarella or other cheese.
