The 400 wealthiest people in America, now own more wealth, than the bottom half of America, 150,000,000 million people.
The Greatest Redistribution of Wealth in our History. In 2010, 93% of all new income generated in that year, went to the top 1%, while the remaining 99% of Americans were able to receive the remaining 7% of new income.
The USA used to be a "Democracy". We are now becoming an "Oligarchy" (Oligarchy: a form of government in which all power is vested in a few persons or in a dominant class, in this case, the richest Americans)

Yes...I agree...And most Democrats AND Republicans, Obama, GW Bush, and McCain, Pelosi and Reid, Boehner and McConnell ALL agreed on bailing out the corporate banks with HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of tax dollars, not to mention the TRILLIONS of dollars given to the "rich" though the federal reserve banking system.
I only know of one candidate that has been addressing the system that has been constructed and rigged to benefit the oligarchs - AND IT AIN'T OBAMA.
Longtime political strategist David Axelrod, who helped advise President Obama's presidential run in 2008 and is serving as communications director for Obama's re-election campaign, has paid $1.7 million for a four-bedroom, 3,320-square-foot condo unit in a high-rise condo along Michigan Avenue.
Financing the Debt Why does the debt sometimes decrease? The Public Debt Outstanding decreases when there are more redemptions of Treasury securities than there are issues.
How do you make a contribution to reduce the debt? There are two ways for you to make a contribution to reduce the debt:
•You can make a contribution online either by credit card, checking or savings account at Pay.gov •You can write a check payable to the Bureau of the Public Debt, and in the memo section, notate that it's a Gift to reduce the Debt Held by the Public. Mail your check to:
Attn Dept G Bureau of the Public Debt P. O. Box 2188 Parkersburg, WV 26106-2188
That's where Warren Buffett and those who think they don't pay enough should be sending their checks, and interestingly enough, many do.
Gift Contributions to Reduce Debt Held by the Public The Bureau of the Public Debt may accept gifts donated to the United States Government to reduce debt held by the public. Acting for the Secretary of the Treasury, Public Debt may accept a gift of:
•Money, made only on the condition that it be used to reduce debt held by the public. •An outstanding government obligation, made only on the condition that the obligation be retired and the redemption proceeds used to reduce debt held by the public. •Other intangible personal property made only on the condition that the property is sold and the proceeds from the sale used to reduce the public debt. Gifts to reduce debt held by the public may be inter vivos gifts or testamentary bequests.
The fiscal year to date information includes total gifts received for the months of October through September. For the years 1996 and 1997, monthly data is not available.
Read about how to make a contribution to reduce the debt.
Gifts to Reduce Debt Held by the Public have been reported in the footnotes of the Monthly Statement of the Public Debt since February 1988. Visit the MSPD to view the debt historical information archives including fiscal year to date tables through and including 1987.
Mike Duke, the CEO of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., received a pay package in 2011 worth $18.1 million, a 3 percent dip from the year before, according to an Associated Press calculation, mainly because his performance-based cash bonus shrank.
I don't really care how many millions the guy made..........I know that I wouldn't want the job!!!! We are paid by our worth, knowledge, experience and education!!

I like to focus on achieving my own success rather than get upset knowing others are successful or incredibly rich. I stay focused on success in MY life, not comparing my status or bank account to others. Liberals seem obsessed that some people are trillionaires. Poverty is a mindset, and democraps love to make sure people stay stuck in it.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
In reply to the last three posts... I don't care how much any American makes... I hope WE are all successful and prosperous... I do care when those of US who are successful and prosperous don't pay their share of taxes... And I care even more when those of US who are successful and prosperous spend their dollars to buy congressmen and senators to lower their share of taxes, while they promote cutting funding for very necessary programs for those of US who are not so successful or prosperous.

So you believe that the successful and prosperous like say - doctors, should be taxed at a higher rate to pay for a program that subsidizes the less prosperous to help them pay for the service the doctor provides? Why not the doctor just lower the price of the service and save the money on the bureaucracy need to hand out the money.

Really?
Because lowering the price of Dr services does nothing to pave roads, teach our kids, provide safe water, or enable fire or police protection.
(Not that difficult to figure out)

...Well those things motioned above are state and local issues. I don't understand how the federal government taxing my income then turning around and redistributing it amongst the 50 states efficiently paves roads, teaches kids, and pays for fire and police. All that does is takes money from the states that control their costs and redistributes it to states that do not.
Not all successful people are 'crooks'...........HONEST! There are many who just give an honest days work for an honest days pay, and are very very very generous! Yes, some use their money shamefully to buy their congressmen.....but they are the minority! It really isn't fair to clump them all together. There are many wealthy business owners who pay for their employee's extra medical expenses, buy them cars, pay for their education, pay to repair their homes, give families money to buy Christmas gifts.......all done 'behind the scenes'...so there is no visible glory so to say. And these wealthy business owners are generous because they are grateful for what they have been given and give back!
There really are some great rich business owners out there who really do give more then their fair share back to the people.
As for the greedy, congressmen buying business owners............SHAME ON THEM!

We are rarely paid for our knolwedge , experieince, and education. You are paid for who you know, who likes you, you get a bonus on top of that if your male.
I don't spell check! Sorry... If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.
Not all people one death row are murders.. see where i'm going with that.
Apples and oranges!

Hope you're stating this TIC, as this WOULD be affected... unless you think that the people who work paving roads, teaching kids, proving the water, or enabling the fire or police protection never get any benefits, you know, like medical coverage that would be paid for by premiums from their paychecks or paid by their bosses. (Guess it was a little more difficult to figure out than you thought, huh?)
