If it is green then go, but as always yield to oncoming traffic. They only need to hang one light and it will be the one in front of you, weather it be directly lined up with the lane in the middle or to your right. There is no need for a second light.

It's confusing, i'm sorry.  Usually their is a dedicated turn light, or a light in the middle of two lanes, or some sort of light.  I, my wife, and two friends of mine all share the same sentiment going through the "new light" at that intersection.   It was poorly planned and implimented if it is as intended.

You are used to a dedicated turn light but there does not have to be one. They have definitely proliferated in the past few years but there are a ton of intersections where they don't exist, and this is one of them. But being that there are three lanes, I guess one would naturally expect one. If nothing is coming, turn left on green! It is simple rule of the road. Yield as always when turning against oncoming traffic. I suppose those lights cost well over a grand a piece, so they figure they will save $ with just the one I imagine.

Makes sense.  Should i add the fact that my wife says i shouldn't be allowed behind a wheel? LOL.  Just seemed strange, but someone i know personally said the same thing to me a few minutes ago.

Isn't there a similar light in that same area that has the arrows? If it does, then I can see where the confusion would come from.
