Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Another part of the renaissance, again. Checked this out after the other story, and missed being first on this one, too. Where is Ronnie the Renaissance when you need him?

Looks like Ellis couldn't handle this one either....huh? WTH will happen to schenectadians if there was ever a major catastrophe??????
Ellis isn't a hospital. It's an assisted nursing facility with a second rate clinic and a heliport. The guy who started their heart program they're always bragging about, fled to Albany Med 3 years ago.
Oh, it was THAT long ago...I judge dates by when I stopped frequenting the bar scene...I would say 8 years if pretty accurate.
Ok, 8 years I can handle .. I remember the houses you're talking about. Wasn't there something about the SPD Chief and his wife with one of those houses behind the school?
Interesting that you note that. I was just looking at the Times Union on my smartphone, and on the bottom of the app, it has an ad. "St. Peter's is your Heart Hospital."
