it is a heck of a lot easier for the city to take down a structure WITH the cooperation of the owner than it is to take any action when the owner(s) are uncooperative and - in some cases - absentee landlords.

How would you know? You never tore a building down. Did you? Do you really know anything about any practical matter involving concrete action of any kind based upon your very pathetic and limited life experience? How sad you could even think yourself qualified to comment on anything other than eatery reviews. And even there you are lacking and biased based on political fodder.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

So, did all those evidence technicians speed into the city from their homes in their taxpayer provided expensive city vehicles and  take evidence before the buidling was torn down/

So, what was the cause of the fire?

Obviously the cause will never be known, if it's arson no one will ever be charged, if it was some bum hanging out in the building who accidentally started the fire the taxpayers will never be told that bums are shacking up in vacant buildings near downtown since that would not look good.   Someone on the news said there was a lot of trash being brought out, was the owner emptying it, will the taxpayer ever be told whether the other might have started it to  collect insurance money?

Will the city dems ever tell the taxpayers if the owner had insurnace on the building to cover the taxpayers' bill for tearing it down?

What action has the city taken against FP for the cost of taking down that building at McClellan and Eastern?   City dems do anything to alleviate the burden on the taxpayers"   HE** NO !!!

It will be interesting to see what becomes of these properties.  My It would be a great place to build some more townhouses -- like the ones being built across from it.

Must be the 'neighbors'   wanted the building down and gone!! Never found out who owned it, or what the cause of the firewas. It was just GONE!

Why build more residential units when there are alreeady OVER 3,000 EXISTING VACANT residential units????

Explain why MORE residnetial units are needed when there are so many empty onees?

Explain WHY the financially struggling homeowners have to pay for it?

SOOOOOOO.   Have the dems come out and told the taxpayers what the cause of the fire was yet????

Can the cheerleaders for high taxes answer why the demolition was rushed so quickly while it was NOT done on Windsor Terrace?????

Oh yeah, the cheerleaders will be TOTALLY SPEECHLESS on this one.   No explanation why their buddy dems are choosy with respect to which fires are investigatged and which are not
