ROTTERDAM — Town police charged a convenience store employee and bartender with misdemeanors after they attempted to sell alcohol to minors Saturday, police said.

Elizabeth Staroba, 68, an employee at Coldspring Fuel, 2415 Hamburg Street, is accused of selling an alcoholic beverage to an 18-year-old. Brianne Regnier, 27, a bartender at Centerfields Sports bar, 2994 Guilderland Ave., is accused of serving beer to an 18-year-old. Both were charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and are scheduled to appear in town court next month.

Schenectady police, in conjunction with the New York State Liquor Authority, also announced that it found violations at Doug's Tailgate Tavern on State Street during a compliance check of state liquor laws early Saturday.

This is good news....BUT, with false ID"S there is more of it everywhere.....and on college campuses

"IT'S NORMAL...THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS IN COLLEGES"

when you have alumni and parents saying the above....what do u expect......it's encouraged....and today alcoholism is a given

in many families....but what's being done???  not a perfect world....not perfect parents....but it's perfectly alright that ads

promoting certain beverages makes it ok....anyone ever been to a rehab???

Drug addiction INCLUDES ALCOHOL...WHEN ARE PEOPLE GOING TO GET IT......?????????????

A bartender has a criminal record because she was caught serving an alcoholic drink to a 18 year old adult that was put in front of her during a government sting operation, but an Army recruiter can solicite a 17 year old to fight in an undeclared war.

Land of the free, home of that brave...Laws, laws, laws, laws, and more laws.   The only one exempt from these laws are the ones working for the government.

Ever notice that the biggest crooks seem to stay in government so that they can stay above the law.
