Fluke can sue...but if she does, game on with her personal life...dirt will be dug.
I'm betting she doesn't do it and she'd probably further her cause more by parading herself out as the innocent victim.

Anybody can sue anybody...This isn't news.

That's true, but that wasn't the subject of the piece.  Any one can sue, but to be successful you need to
be meet certain criteria in this type of suit.

"Slander is a type of defamation in which a hurtful statement is spoken. To win a slander lawsuit, a victim
must prove someone made a false statement that was "published" to at least one other person, and that
the statement caused injury.

Public figures must also prove actual malice -- that the statement was made with intentional disregard
for the truth.
In Sandra Fluke's case, she is not a public figure, (a civilian)  lawyers told the Philadelphia Daily
News. Fluke can "definitely" prove Limbaugh made the hurtful comments and "published" them to millions
of listeners.

LOL... lawyers tell newspapers their guilty clients are innocent every day..... the courts will decide, if it gets that far, which I doubt...
She'll sue if she has no skeletons in her closet, because Rush's legal team will bring them out if she does...Like I said, she'll go farther if he doesn't sue.

Not only are paying advertisers still pulling their support from Rush Loudmouth,  but sponsors
of unpaid public service announcements are also asking not to run on Limbaugh's show.

One of the public service organizations which has benefited from the airtime would like to opt out.
The American Heart Association's Matthew Bannister says:
"It is our practice to be a content-sensitive advertiser, and in light of the current controversy,
we will be asking [Cumulus-owned] WABC to no longer utilize these unpaid PSAs."

Carbonite stock is now at a 6 month low...it dropped 12% after dropping Limbaugh

On a day when the stock market dropped 7%, Carbonite dropped 12%, not exactly a disaster.

Of the 86 ads that made it on the air Thursday, 77 of them were free public service announcements donated by
the Ad Council.

AOL who also dropped it's advertising with Druggy Rush had their stock rise from $17 to over $18 per share in the
same time period.
Netflix also had their stock soar from $100.50 to $110 per share today.

Druggy Rush may be on his way to face the same fate as Crying Glenn Beck.

Dream on Box...

Rush has a lot more stations airing him than Beck... As far as I know, less than 5 of the 600 stations have dropped him. Most stations that air him are talk-format, and since the libs can't seem to put up anyone to get within 50% of Rush's station count, he'll be around for a while..much to your chagrin.

Rush has a captive audience.  There is something in the needy Conservative psyche that NEEDS to have their beliefs
reinforced.  Rush offers the drug that soothes that political addiction.
Liberals on the other hand, seem quite comfortable with or with out a daily dose of political medicine.

Beck was on top of the heap at FoxSnooze, but when the advertising dollars dried up... Beck was shown the
door.
I doubt 'El Drugo' will drop from sight like Beck did, but with less advertisers, less revenue for radio.  It will
have an accumulative effect.

Liberal talk radio, its not like they haven't tried...remember Air America?
I guess they can't make it in the commercial arena...its NPR or nothing...

Rush has been around a lot longer than Beck...he is a lot more connected to money also.
I would not at all  be surprised to see him do a "Howard Stern" and go to satellite radio if he loses enough stations.
He'd be more successful than Stern on satellite as he would get many more listeners to "pay the piper"

As I posted above, Conservatives are addicted to the Right Wing heroine...
Liberals seem to be immune to the Hate Radio disease.

It would be a good thing if Rush Loudmouth left public airwaves and hid out on Satellite Paid Radio.

Agreed!! This stunt has caused a political fire storm drawing the liberals into the mix! We already saw Mahr cave!! And his $1M obama donation draws obama right into the hail storm! This may have very well been a planned strategic move! Rush just poured gasoline and started a fire storm on the 'entire issue'!

Although the 60/70's hippie feminists are becoming quite the joke!  Women have become political fodder by men, calling them every derogatory word and you barely hear a whisper from these bra burners!!

Looks like the bra burning, pot smoking, commune living hippies through women right under the bus!!! GOOD JOB GIRLS!!

Liberals tend to be more tech-savvy than the average social conservative...
That's why they get their daily fix of liberal progressive views from DailyKos and moveon.org., and more recently, the Occupy groups.

Box, you want opposing views to hide out? You sound a lot like the people you criticize.

El Drugo is NOT AN OPPOSING VIEW!

I seek out an Opposing View... I loved to hear William F Buckley Jr speak.  He actually made sense and his
orations were aimed at Americans with a brain, unlike The Drugged One, who aims at those who don't want to
think, or can't think.

Rush is propaganda...
Buckley was an opposing view.  Sadly there is no one of his caliber in today's media.
