The cartoon that I posted has nothing to do with Democrats or criticizing them.  It's about the Republican
agenda to defeat Obama even at the expense of the USA.

As I posted... for either Republicans or Democrats alike:

~High gas prices are a valid issue in a campaign... no matter who is in office.
~An improving economy is a valid issue in a campaign... no matter who is in office.

(You must have missed that part Cic)   >

Box, your cartoon is a characterization that only exists in the mind of the liberal democrats.  The cartoon is supposed to convince people that the satirical humor in the cartoon is reality.  The improving economy is a mix of wishful thinking and propaganda.

Also, I wasn't talking about the cartoon using nationalism, I was talking about YOUR words of stating that "In both cases the Republicans in the cartoon are anti American but pro Republican...(Just like real life). You suggest that Republicans opposition to Obama policy is anti-American and pointing out the failure of his policies and affect it has on gas prices is anti-American.

My mistake...You may not even be aware you are making Gobbels proud.

Cis has his panties in a knot again

As I posted twice now... and I'll post it ONE MORE TIME just for Cicero...
~High gas prices are a valid issue in a campaign... no matter who is in office.
~An improving economy is a valid issue in a campaign... no matter who is in office.

Perhaps I've overestimated Cicero
Political Humor seems to be  too cerebral for Cic to appreciate.

Box, you said Republicans are "anti-American".  You keep on quoting sentences besides the one where you call Republicans "anti-American".  I've seen those other posts...a few times now...What about the "anti-American" statement?  You must have missed that part Box.

Let me refresh your memory.

Quoted Text

OK Cic.  Take a deep breath... There...
Now look at the cartoon. The elephants in the cartoon symbolize Republicans.
The Republicans see BAD NEWS as an IMPROVING AMERICAN ECONOMY.
The Republicans see GOOD NEWS as  INCREASING AMERICAN GAS PRICES.

In the cartoon, the (Republican) Elephants in both cases, view BAD NEWS for Americans as GOOD NEWS!
One might surmise that their view is anti-American?????????????

C'mon box... The Dems wouldn't be thinking the same thing if a republican president was running for re-election?

Do you presume to know what the Dems would be thinking???

I can only speak for myself and I think:
~High gas prices are a valid issue in a campaign... no matter who is in office.
~An improving economy is a valid issue in a campaign... no matter who is in office.

I presume to know what the challenger is thinking..it doesn't matter what party they are.
Always put a negative spin on a positive and hi-light an obvious negative....

No, a view of politics over the last 20 years... Show me anything contrary...except for maybe the propensity for BOTH parties to kick the "debt" can down the road.

We are on a sinking ship and they are arguing about dinner place settings

Yes, a liberal Democrat that supports Barack Obama might....I'll just add it to the list of debate stoppers.  If you can't pit the people against each other, pit them against their nation.  Stirring nationist fervor is very good politics.

If you bothered to READ before you start to TYPE, you would see that I posted a response...
My cartoon was a response to Benny's post below:

Even the last place REP can beat Obama! And gas prices haven't hit $5 a gallon yet. Except in LA and Orlando. Rotsa Ruck in November.

No, I'm following...Buck then posted 2 YouTube video's showing Democrats politicizing and campaigning against high gas prices on promises of keeping them low if they were elected.  NOW...When Benny points out that Obama and the Democrats FAILED at keeping gas prices low, you post a cartoon portraying the Republicans as celebrating high gas prices.  Then YOU add your own commentary calling Republicans "Anti American".

Box, you like facts.

FACT – Gas prices have MORE THAN DOUBLED since Obama’s inauguration.  I’m not rooting against America, I’m rooting against Obama and his failed policies!!

Average gas prices--January 26, 2009

gasoline/gallon $1.84
Diesel fuel/gallon $2.27

Average gas prices--February 27, 2012

Regular gasoline/gallon $3.72
Diesel fuel/gallon $4.05

Yes the price of gasoline is again reaching up... up above Obama's high point and
ALMOST
to the highest gas prices in US history: ($4.12)

GEORGE WORST BUSH now owns the US Record high price of gasoline... but that record may fall under Obama!

You know Bush is not the president right?  You're not having another Bush Derangement Syndrome episode are you?  Is Obama trying to break his record?
