Boxy says....

When Tbird speaks for me...he gets it wrong right. Just about anyone can see that

(When you're a conservative liberal and hate the facts rich... throw up enough smoke and some how others will not see
that your full of BS.)
Lets take Tbirds Boxys list of BS and eliminate those lines that have nothing to do with what he is actually discussing:

Spending problem? Reduce spending where applicable. How are you going to do that without hitting your
trifecta in programs that make up more than half of the budget? (medicare, medicaid, SS, other entitlement)
In reality, Box BS

revenue problem? Increase revenue by tax increases, increasing the number of people with jobs, thus increase
tax revenue How, by waving a magic wand? Introducing laws requiring businesses to hire people, or pump up the deficit with more "shovel ready" jobs (stimulus)?

People can't retire?  Has nothing to do with this post. Really? read the subject of this thread

Medicare fraud? Like all fraud that involves taxpayer dollars... fraud steals our tax dollars. In other words, ignore it

Welfare fraud? See above. rinse and repeat

49.5% of the population not paying fed income taxes? What % were paying taxes when Clinton was president
and the country prospered? A lot more than now and it wasn't the end of the world...btw, thanks for proving my point

Taxing the rich, and those billionaires and millionaires who pay no taxes will add revenue.  Anyone disagree??? We could cut the Pentagon budget by 50% and tax the rich at 50% tomorrow and we STILL couldn't balance the budget ...taxing the rich will add more revenue, and the Congress will just spend it, not pay down the debt and keep printing money...something most of us can't do...so, how does it solve our budget issues?

~Spending problem? Reduce spending where applicable.
How are you going to do that without hitting your trifecta in programs that make up more than half of the budget? (medicare, medicaid, SS, other entitlement) In reality, Box BS
***** We agree reduced where applicable.

~revenue problem? Increase revenue by tax increases, increasing the number of people with jobs, thus increase
tax revenue
***** Again we agree.

~People can't retire?  Has nothing to do with this post.
***** It has nothing to do with this post, even though it does pertain to the THREAD SUBJECT.

~Medicare fraud? Like all fraud that involves taxpayer dollars... fraud steals our tax dollars.  In other words,
ignore it.
***** Your words are to ignore it, not mine.
I posted "Like all fraud that involves taxpayer dollars... fraud steals our tax dollars."
Obviously we both agree that fraud in any part of government should be eliminated.

~ 49.5% of the population not paying fed income taxes? What % were paying taxes when Clinton was president
and the country prospered?
***** We agree that when unemployment was low under Clinton, obviously more people working means more
revenue.

~Taxing the rich, and those billionaires and millionaires who pay no taxes will add revenue.  Anyone disagree???
*****You spewed a lot of other options but YOU DIDN't Disagree.

(BTW, I'm glad you got your car fixed, and you managed to overcome your constipation.)

Nope... because applicable to you means no cuts at all
~revenue problem? Increase revenue by tax increases, increasing the number of people with jobs, thus increase
tax revenue
***** Again we agree.
Really? explain that one

~People can't retire?  Has nothing to do with this post.

It does, because it fits into your government sponsored "cradle to grave" society

~Medicare fraud? Like all fraud that involves taxpayer dollars... fraud steals our tax dollars.  In other words,

Cool, you are willing to be "mean spirited"

Check your math... Under Clinton, unemployment was in the 4-5% range and taxpayers who didn't pay taxes was around 31%.. now unemployment is at 8.5% and now people not paying taxes is at 49%

~Taxing the rich, and those billionaires and millionaires who pay no taxes will add revenue.  Anyone disagree???

Options??? Options???? Balancing a budget, paying off your debt, and paying on time is an option? Try telling that one to your bank

(BTW, I'm glad you got your car fixed, and you managed to overcome your constipation.)
You've got mind constipation, for that, there is no cure

1. NOPE, Applicable means APPLICABLE!
2.  It needs no "explaining".  One way to increase revenue is to increase taxes, another is to add more
people paying taxes.
3. Really?  I thought you wanted to discuss this issue.  OK    NO it fits into your conservative rob the poor
to make the rich wealthier!
That was pointless.
4. It's taking 4 or 5 posts just to hit the highlights of each topic... every topic you listed could take it's own
post.  (again, you seem more interested in shouting names than in actual discussion)  OK    You dress funny,

5. Again, childish.

There's no point in having any reasonable discourse with you, because you end up transcribing items right from the dnc playbook.
The facts are this:
There will always be rich
There will always be poor.
No matter how much you tax the rich and how much you give the poor, those two items above will NEVER change.

You solution to everything is raise taxes...You try to make it look like you really care about waste to avoid looking like a total fraud...buts its a poor attempt. You mention it without suggesting ANY solution to it.

Now go ahead and check with the DNC for your response while you all continue to kick the can down the road.

You post that 'my solution to everything is to raise taxes"... Why do you think that?
I've posted numerous times about CORPORATE WELFARE... US tax payer dollars going to corporations like GE
or the big oil companies... OUR DOLLARS!  CUT CUT CUT!
I support programs to cut medicare and meidcaid fraud... not only the type of fraud that you post about...
but the HUGE PROBLEM OF FRAUD FROM THE TOP!  Doctors who never saw a patient billing medicare.
CUT CUT CUT the bloated military budget!  I've been posting that since the 90's.

There is only one Conservative solution to every problem... no matter what the problem...CUT THE F'N TAXES.

There is only one Conservative solution to every problem... no matter what the problem...CUT THE F'N TAXES per Box. How about shrink the size of the government and cut the wasteful spending something that the Dems won't even speak about.

I don't believe that... I have said over and over the Bush tax cuts were a bad idea without a commensurate reduction in expenditures and Obama continuing them is wrong also. Not many people realize the payroll tax cut is actually taking money away from a program already in trouble, Social Security. I thought the rhetoric about not being able to have pizza night without the continuation of the tax cut was BS.
The problem is the Dems in charge don't want to reduce spending, they want to increase it and raise taxes.
The pubs in charge think everything can be solved with a tax cut and reduced spending. The fact is its too far gone for those things to work. We need reduced spending AND tax increases...which is a non starter for both parties bases...

Sad but true 55tbird and if the government keeps going the way it is currently we will be in the same boat as Greece is now very soon and printing all the money in the world won't save us. If this government lowers the value of our dollar much more it will lose it's reserve status and then our problems will really get bad.

Tbird... I've posted this a million times...
Consider this...

~A tax cut for one group, with out a like spending cut, is a tax increase for everyone
not in that group.~

The Bush Tax Cut FOR THE RICH, with out a like spending cut, is a Tax Increase for
everyone who is NOT RICH!
