Reward offered after Rotterdam pharmacy robbery

ROTTERDAM — Town police announced a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in a pharmacy robbery in February.

Police said about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 19, a man confronted a pharmacy technician and pharmacist and demanded drugs while displaying a dark-colored, semi-automatic pistol. He left the store and headed to the rear of the building toward Kenmore Avenue, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 40s or early- to mid-50s, with a dark-colored mustache, goatee, possibly with pitted facial skin on his cheeks. He weighed about 210 pounds and was 5 feet 10 to 5 feet 11 inches tall. He wore a dark hooded jacket, dark plastic sunglasses, tan leather-type work gloves and blue jeans.

    ROTTERDAM — Rotterdam police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving a CVS robbery that occurred nearly 10 months ago.
    They’re offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest of the suspect, according to a news release issued Friday.
    The robbery occurred around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Police describe the suspect as a white man in his late 40s or early 50s. He had a dark mustache and goatee, and the skin on and near his cheeks may have been pitted. They estimate he was 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 210 pounds.
