Metroplex has a very poor record of paying back the taxpayers money that they use to attract new businesses into the area. |

GREAT NEWS FOR ROTTERDAM ---- THANKS TO RAY GILLEN, the COUNTY DEMOCRATS and the TOWN DEMOCRATS -- ALL WORKING TOGETHER,
If you actually had a job and spent a dollar to buy the actual copy of the paper, you would see that nobody at the town level was even talked to for the story. WORKING TOGETHER WORKS as long as you're in the "in crowd (which the town crowd seems to be crowded out)." |

I have been buying the newspaper for many years .. so you can take your attitude and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. The town and the county worked together on this ... and will continue to work together on other job-creating, tax-base expanding projects. So put your nasty attitude in a pipe and blow smoke rings out your back side. |

So, maybe it created a couple of jobs. The question is how long will they be around? And the other question is if it has expanded the tax base. Well? Are there going to be tax breaks for the new company coming in? And what happened to the wonderful new police station that was supposed to be moving to the old Draper School... well, that's out, then there was this building, that's out. Now what, something will happen on Hamburg St? Come on, until something actually happens, it's not true, and they're not here yet. And you still need to prove that the tax base will change. I just got my "state and federal mandates" bill, along with town taxes (which they fully admit to). Wonder why I had to pay anything since the economy is doing so well. So, how much of a change was there in YOUR tax bills this year? |

ANOTHER LIE!
This from the Schdy Gazette: State to fill downtown Schenectady offices SCHENECTADY — The state’s Workers’ Compensation Board plans to move 300 employees into downtown Schenectady to fill the State Street building that currently houses about 200 state Department of Transportation workers.
Another Lie! This would be GOOD NEWS for Schenectady... and we all know... NOTHING GOOD EVER HAPPENS IN SCHENECTADY! |

The Nayboobs can sit on it -- and furthermore you can promptly take your attitudes and shove them where the sun doesn't shine. Your dirty ideas and nasty views should be viewed as environmental pollutants.. Harry Buffardi and the whole TEAM did more in 45 days than the entire past TWO administrations --- and would have DONE MORE if Robert Godlewski were not causing trouble where there is no trouble at ALL! |

Rampage and the other nitwit nayboobs are hopelessly clueless. One wonders where they come up with their COMPLETELY IGNORANT statements like "what ever happened to the police station that was supposed go in the Draper building?" If they actually read the papers and paid attention at town board meetings, a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT proposal was made for the Draper building and the property looked at for the police station-justice court was on Hamburg St. |

You're the one that's hopeless and clueless. All of these buildings have, at one time or another, been mentioned as a possibility for locations for the police station. I'm sorry that your memory is about as strong as the likeness used to signify your party of choice, and represents your mentality, a jacka$$. I think it was BobGod, who when he was your favorite, was one thinking of V-Stream for a police station. There was also a chance they would go on N. Wescott, I think where NYSDEC is now. |

Now change your tune and say that you were talking about the V-Stream building -- when you quite SPECIFICALLY typed THE DRAPER BUILDING. Admit you were wrong -- and get over it. |

It appears that this company must make a hell of a profit...or at least expect to. They are suppose to invest $3M, close their cincinati and connecticut locations.........and all for a ten year lease and 30 employees!! So did cincinatii and connecticut only employ 30 folks between both locations? Or are they downsizing? |

Ovwer time on this site, MANY different buildings have been spoken about, including both V-Stream and Draper, so I think your statement above applies to you, not me, but I'm sure you will never admit you're wrong. Get a clue. |
