As I expected you ignore the criminals but want to punish those who follow the law. I have no problems with background checks at gun shops as that is a simple solution. However that isn't what you want, you want complete government control over our natural right to defend ourselves. Maybe you believe the police can protect everyone at every minute but those who know better understand the importance of self reliance especially when it comes to protecting our life and property. I pray you are never in a situation where your life is at stake but remember this, when seconds count cops are only minutes away.

Your rant about illegal immigration and illegal guns is also laughable, in fact I can't believe you even went there knowing what occurred under this administration. Sure I want a secure border, so what does that have to do with my 2nd amendment right, what does that have to do with guns being in the wrong hands. If you want to link the two I suggest you look at our government flooding Mexico with guns which eventually fell into the hands of illegal immigrants which eventually ended up killing Americans. Mexico and the anti-gun groups here used the violence in Mexico to attack our 2nd amendment, they also used the propaganda about gunshow loopholes when in fact it was our government flooding weapons to the cartels.
