These people are self absorbed. I propose we have a USS Madaline in the fleet. She has touched more lives than Gabby Gifford.
We are all saddened when any child dies of cancer. I wonder if the cure for her disease was held back by Right Wing Fanatics who stopped all Embryonic Stem Cell research for 10 years.
Gabby Giffords was shot because of her services to her country. The rest of her life she will pay the price for being a US Congressman. Naming a ship after her is an honor, but I'm sure she'd trade that honor in a second to regain her brain function taken from her by a nutcase with a gun.

Don't point out the irony of the left blaming guns and violent rhetoric because Palin used cross hairs on a map and said "targeting district", then naming a weapon of war in her honor.

Same lame argument that holds no water, gun laws never stop criminals from getting guns, it only restricts those who follow the law in the first place. If gun legislation worked, places like Detroit, DC, cough Schenectady would be gun violence free but we all know it isn't.

So you want a law only law abiding citizens would obey. How many criminals are going to go get the paper work, then go to the Sheriffs office to have their fingerprints taken, then has to get letters of approval, then have to see if the judge ok's it and after that wait 5-6 months to obtain the license to buy the gun. Even after all of that chances of getting a concealed permit is slim. That Box is what law abiding citizens must go through if they want to protect their selves in NY, meanwhile the scum of the earth can go to any ghetto and buy whatever he pleases because he doesn't give 2 $hits about the laws to begin with.
