The Supreme Court's 6-to-3 decision today upheld sobriety checkpoints as constitutional. June 15, 1990.

That is because over the years, Americans elected legislators and presidents that appointed activist judges to reinterpret the Constitution.  A Supreme Court decision with no public outrage only goes to show American's gradual acceptance of the police state.  Our public education system turned people’s minds to goo.  People are incapable of resisting the states authority, regardless of how immoral.  Those who have been publically educated have been taught to sit, be quiet, and obey the state authority.  

I think things are beginning to change.  Remember, for 60 years Jim Crow laws were upheld by the Supreme Court – it doesn’t mean they were moral laws.
