Arguing the case for government FORCING religious organizations to provide contraception, and framing the argument as if the Catholic Church was PROHIBITING the use of contraception. It is government that is FORCING itself into the WOMAN'S UTERUS not the other way around, it is the government that is regulating contraception. The Catholic Church doesn't have the power to regulate and prohibit, but the government does. I are the liberals that are ASKING, NO, NO, DEMANDING that the federal governement regulate their uterus' and reproduction.

As a smaller govt guy, and all FOR states rights... 28 states have already passed legislation that includes contraceptives WITH NO EXEMPTIONS for a religious employer... Since it IS the state's right to pass this kind of legislation (as per Ronny Paul) then can I assume your only problem is that it's the Federal Govt that is passing this law???
So far I've not read even one complaint about States passing legislation that requires Contraceptive coverage WITH NO EXEMPTIONS, and only President Barack Hussein Obama is allowing Religious Exemptions.

Well Box, your question is completely separate from what I said. I said the State FORCED the CHURCH into the bedroom. The separation of church and state is left wing gospel, EXCEPT when the STATE forces the CHURCH to offer(and ultimately pay for) birth control.
Every time a woman has sex using Catholic Church provided birth control, the church is in the bedroom(dragged in by the government). The argument has been based on the premise that women can't afford birth control, so without the Catholic Church offering it, and through lack of alternatives, these women are FORCED to use Catholic Church provided birth control.

"We're not trying to impose our teachings on anybody," said Dolan in his 45-minute speech to a packed auditorium of about 1,000 people. "We're simply saying, don't impose your teaching upon us and make us do as a church what we find unconscionable to do."

Sounds good but it's not true!
You could lower premiums by a great deal if you excluded coverage for prenatal care, delivery of the baby and at least 18 years of the child's medical care. But by excluding Contraceptive coverage, you increase costs and eventually increase insurance premiums. Contraceptive coverage is cheap... Having babies is very expensive!

I wish to thank President Obama for his ruling on health care for women, specifi - cally the requirement that health insurance providers provide free coverage for birth control. I was thrilled to see that family planning is part of the new health care law. It is refreshing to see common sense and good public health combine to improve the health of women by avoiding unwanted pregnancies. The compromise with religious groups was a skillful addition. Health insurance companies are happy to provide free birth control, since it saves them money. The naysayers are those who, in the name of religious freedom, want to get the government to impose their religious views on women. That is not religious freedom. No woman is forced to use birth control under the new health care law. The inclusion of family planning in the new health care law proves that Obama cares!
