A woman died after a fatal stabbing in the Downtown Bank of America parking lot, this morning. The SPD have a witness in custody and their investigation is continuing.
AND THAT RENAISSANCE ROLLS ON AND ON AND ON!!!!!!!
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
I love the "RENAISSANCE" discussions on this board. When some some old lady's pet parakeet flies out the window in Schenectady... the blame??? THE "RENAISSANCE"!
When a crime is committed 'downtown', who's to blame? THE "RENAISSANCE"!
When there's a traffic accident involving a drunk driver, who shall we find fault with??? THE "RENAISSANCE"!
I wonder if in the "GOOD OLD DAYS" when downtown was nothing but a collection of boarded up windows, empty storefronts, drug deals and homeless... Did old lady's parakeets ever fly out the window??? Was there NO CRIME in Schdy before the RENNASSANCE? Were there no drunk drivers causing accidents in Schdy before the RENAISANCE???
I have no reason to travel to Schdy except for the RENAISSANCE. I have no reason to travel to downtown Saratoga Springs, except for their renaissance. I would avoid both places if they remained as they were in the "good ole days".
The citizens who benefit most from the Renaissance are the loudest to complain.

And where is Smoking Bananas who once said crime is virtually non-existent in Schenectady?
And where is DV aka Hamburg aka Scots aka GG? To DV I say "the renaissance continues" another murder downtown, another murder in the city, put your money where your mouth is DV and move into the city, tell us when the closing on your house in the city is??????
The worst thing about this, fellow posters, is this was not 2 in the morning. This was IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! This could have been someone going to work at one of the FEW jobs in one of the FEW in downtown. This could have been someone waiting at the bus stop to go work outisde the city. This could have been someone who was had gone to exercise at the Y and was going back to her car to go home, shower, and go to work. Or it could have been a mom who dropped her kids off at school and then was going to the Y for exercise. This could have been an elderly person going back to her car after going to morning Mass at St. Joseph's; oh wait, the church has long known how dangerous downtown is, they no longer have Masses at that hour of the day. This could have been DV in drag walking downtown that he says he has never felt concerned being downtown.

So, where's all those "the renaissance continues" comments today?
YES, he was signed on today. No posting.
He's rather speechless to read about another murder downtown, about McC's failure regarding the ballooning foreclosures (uh, that's TAX foreclosures---meaning the people can afford to pay the mortgage but can't afford the taxes), and then the nerve of McC not coming out in public to talk to Schenectady people--rather than a mayor from another city does the honors coming to our county, and of course, that's all happening at a non-socialist, non taxpayer funded supermarket
