Other than some newspaper report that obviously relied on the maybe one or two employees that work there that live in Schenectady.
Name some names and what community they live in.
Of course, no proof will be provided, that's a given.

Do you remember the newspaper article that claimed GCAR said house value in the Sch Co were increasing, roughly $185,000 +/-? Remember that DV? SB claimed it's true (that house values were increasing) becuase he read it in a newspaper article. But the TRUTH was that he was only doing a copy and paste job from a newspaper article. But when you go to GCAR's website, there was NOTHING, NOTHING WHATSOEVER to support what was written in the newspaper article.
So, in the same way, there is NOTHING, NOTHING WHATSOEVER to support what was written in the newspaper article you cite. Now, please provide some proof. So DV, try provide actual quotes from employees, including names, saying that they prefer downtown Schenectady.
Just like SB can't provide proof DIRECT from GCAR that house values are going up, you DV, can't provide proof DIRECT from the employees that they don't want to leave downtown
True, employees may have said they dislike "moving" employees would not like moving if they were moving across the street!!!!!!! It's the process of having to pack up their stuff and unpack, perhaps while trying to answer phones at the same time - the public does not believe it's acceptable for a government worker to be unable to answer because the files are "packed up for the move." They don't like the hassle of moving especially since they were only moved 9 years ago. And especially when they were moved not long before that when they first went to Holland Ave before moving to downtown. Oh yeah, you didn't know about their many moves, did you.
But they will sure love the easy travel to work, the many many restaurants (far more than downtown), the variety of places to get coffee, and on their lunch, they can get take care of virtually all their shopping needs because you DO know because Wolf Rd has the stores that people want to shop at.

People have commented to me that they are VERY unhappy to be moving to such a congested and phony area such as Wolf road -- when in FACT -- they are perfectly happy enjoying the charm of Downtown Schenectady and all that it has to offer.. Although I am an enthusuastic supporter of the wildly successful Governor Cuomo -- I certainly would beseech him to allow those who ARE downtown to STAY Downtown!
