Troopers: Two sold alcohol to minors
Published 02:56 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012

A Scotia store clerk and a Delanson bartender were ticketed last week after, State Police said, they sold alcohol to minors.

Troopers said 13 bars, convenience stores and liquor stores were checked throughout Schenectady County on Thursday. They used an underage volunteer who tried to buy alcohol.

State Police said clerks at the following establishments were ticketed after they sold to the minor.

• Gabriele's Supermarket, 255 Mohawk Ave., Scotia.

• Quaker Inn, 10086 Duanesburg Road, Delanson.

The clerk and the bartender were charged with unlawful dealing with a child, a misdemeanor.

Boy do I feel safer! Money well spent! Did they ever find the gunman that shot a person outside of Bombers? I'd like to see the list of bars and see how many plex bars were involved in the sting.
